We have gone to this store for years. We have bought masa at least twice a year. Will I am sorry to say, last week we bought some masa from them. When we cooked the tamales the masa had dissolved. When we took them a sample of the tamales, the store mgr/dir said there was nothing wrong with their masa. I told them there is and because of their product not being prepared right, we lost out on 144.00 in materials. We live in Casa Grande so our trip wasnt cheap either. We contacted the BBB and Atty Generals office, they gave us the owners name. They also said if we need we can contact them to file a complaint with this establishment. We dont want to file a complaint we want the items we lost plus new masa. No money just replacing what was ruined. We contacted the owners THE RASCONs all they carried about is how we got their number. Guess what guess your worries should be towards the BBB. You have 24 hrs to resolve.

Cashier didnt even know where things where, i wanted to buy some baby formula and he said it was in the baby section which i told him they werent but he insisted that they were over there or to ask an employee for them, i went and they werent there. I had to wait in line again and told him they werent in the baby section and that he should have, with an attitude he said he didny even know where they were then asked another cashier which told him that indeed they(the cashiers) have the formulas with them at the registers. Then he said my signature didnt match which was just slightly sloppy but i have always gotten it pasted he was just being rude and trying to give me a hard time. Very horrible experience this time. For the most part i have a good smooth experience with other cashiers. A manager got involved as well and took care of me at the end but she was pretty rude as well.

If you like green chiles, they have bags of roasted ones at the checkout. Pick one up and smell it. What an amazing aroma. Now buy it !!! Because I dont want to come in and pick up a bag, knowing your nose germs (and who knows what else) are all over the outside of the bag. They also consistently have great ripe avocados. Wish I could say the same for Sprouts, who typically sells avocados that could break windows. Stop by the juice counter and get a strawberries and cream, horchata, or possibly watermelon juice. But the real reason I come here is twofold. The first reason is the meat counter, which is where they keep the ranchera steak. Oh yeah, have them add the marinade and let it sit overnight. The second reason is the hot food counter. Best refried beans Ive had in a while. While youre there, pick up a tub of their freshly made salsa, and some hot tortillas.

This is a grocery store, bakery, meat market, juice bar and restaurant with some of the freshest and best food, for a very reasonable price. They bake cakes, some to-order, and bring out a thousand+ pasteries fresh from the ovens all day long. The hot dishes, usually a dozen or more selections, are great, and almost anything can be made to order. They make their own tortillas, from the soaking of the corn, all the way to the fresh-from-the-flames finished product. Home made salsas by the pound. Highly recommended, if indoor picnic tables and crowds in line for the bakery do not bother you. Fast service. A meal may run $3-$6. Most pasteries are well under a dollar (most 2-3 for a dollar). Mostly Spanish spoken here, but always someone to help translate. Friendly. A real find!

Fresh food. Customer service is good. There is a lady who works making tortillas that is very friendly that would make this place to be almost 5 stars ; however, the lady who helps you with the bread does not deserve even 1 star because she does no have have a good attitude when helping customers.

They need to do more to make this place a little more hygienic. I was a little dissapointed and the gentleman at the fish department who was very nice by the way didnt speak English or understand me so we used sign language. ..lol. Kinda.

Great pan dulce but the lady that is at the counter is very rude great pan but please talk to the counter ladies, sometimes I arrive they give me a very dirty look. I am white but still a paying customer.

This place is amazing! Great food for getting your true Mexican fix. Pan dulce, great tasting mexican food, fresh corn tortillas. And then the grilled chicken. Did I mention the grilled chicken?
