I would have to agree to the last post. The managers here are very shady. Vee pretends to be your friend. If you get the chance to work here trust no one. Bill is the worst. They are only looking out for there own interests. Employees feel the same Way. They claim to help you find a job. Are bishops trust that you are helping us. Trust me keep your head down, trust no managers here at this new store. And get out as fast as you can. You wonder why these managers work here. Because they cant make it in the real world just like us. Yet the only difference is they abuse there power. The store manager needs to step down. Thank employee of the new desert industry in glendale.az.

Where to begin they get all their stuff free and they are crooks. My sister bought a used hot water heater from them and they told us itd been tested and was in perfect working order. I hooked it up for her and it started leaking all over the place then when I went to drain it it was so clogged with lime I could not get it to drain for half a day then I took it back they would not refund it or let her purchase what she would like they said it had to be a used item and what she could exchange for then their new stuff had stains all over it and theyre trying to ask about $200 for a stool do not go there by all means do not go there they are Crooks

As long as you keep your expectations low for a thrift store then this is one of the best. They keep the floors clean theres lots of stuff and its well organized. They dont seem to clean out their Electronics section very well but they do have some nice specialty items sometimes. Dont expect anything from the staff , they seem to employ those that would otherwise have a hard time finding employment. Which is great for them, Im happy about that just keep it in mind when you ask a question Kama you will almost always have to go to a manager to get the answer to the most simple question.

I honestly have to say, I was impressed by the large selection of clothing, and even the small items. The Mesa store is VERY clean and you can tell the employees all do enjoy their work. Jenny was the first I ran into and she was super helpful, as was another gentleman unfortunately I forgot his name. Although I think Amber is the best cashier I have ever met. She went above and beyond helping me and my mother as we went through her check out line on Tuesday she even made sure that we tested our items prior to purchase.. All in all I will be here again for sure!!

I love DI ! It is the most fun store to shop! Its just like a dept. store, only cheaper. The clothes are a nice quality, and up-to-date. I would say 90% of my clothes come from there. I get lots of compliments. When I tell people where I got them, theyre surprised, and impressed. One of the workers explained that the people who work there are sort of on an internship. They learn skills to prepare them to find jobs. They even role play how to interview, and fill out an application. I like the way everyone benefits.

Was sent here when my purse broke while getting my car washed. The car wash cashier said she used to work here and they had tons of purses at good prices as well as lots of other stuff. Not impressed at all with the purses. They had a very small assortment and most were super cheap looking. They had some good stuff at reasonable prices but not impressed enough to go back since they are quite a ways from my house. Someone living closer, it would be worth the trip.

They tend to cherry pick through donations. The last item I attempted to donate was a couch. They refused it and told me to pay someone to take it away. This happened to my brother in law with his leather couch as well. These couches were fine, certainly someone could have used them somewhere. We both live in nice places and good neighborhoods. Now I only use Craigslist FREE section for my donations.

Its clean, looks neat, n very organized. Easy to locate the section of what Im looking for. Ive had some pretty good finds from here and my family come back every month or so tp check it out. Workers are willing to be helpful n are nice. The manager leads with great customer service. My go-to place for random n usual household things that I need. Id recommend this place to everyone.

DI has a huge selection for clothing in all different sizes, they do need to work on a different way of organizing their clothing. Sizes are thrown on racks, which makes ot hard to find anything. I did actually snag 2 games for my kids there, which had ALL the pieces, and they were both $1.00... thats 98% off store prices. :-)

I love this store. I once worked here and i needed a lot of help to get my life together. I understand the value this place has in the community and I am so happy to go in a few times a week just to remind me where I came from, and to support the newer employees who need encouragement and to watch them grow

My family and I love DI. We dont shop there much, but their integrity in taking donations and making sure the items both get used as much as possible and also get to the people who need it most is admirable. Far and above the efforts of other thrift donation stores (looking at you, Goodwill...)

Great place to find unique items for a really cheap price. This place is very similar to Goodwill, and all money collected goes to the people who work there, and to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints which use the money to help people who are in need.

They now want $6.00 for a blouse that sells for half of that at any other thrift store in AZ. Store has some nice things in other departments, and the store is clean, but some of the men who work there are very creepy.

I loved the store. Good prices and lots of purses and shoes. Pretty organized except the household kitchen appliance area. It is always messy. I know people toss things but maybe closer attention in that area?

Deseret Industries is an LDS run thrift store and donation center. They employee individuals going through hard times and some that have disabilities. Youll always feel welcome and find good prices on items.

I used to live this place. It used to be a junkstore lovers dream. Unfortunately, they have reduced in size significantly and the amount of junk to sift through is miniscule compared with its former glory.

If your looking for a good thrift store this is one if them. Great discounts and large selection, but dont wait until just before closing because they dont like to wait on you to make a decision.

I really enjoy treasure hunting in this store! It is crowded always, with people and stuff, so be aware of that. But it is totally worth it!! Items change daily, so repeat trips are necessary.
