Where to even begin...I think Downtown AND Uptown Cheapskate have to be some sort of case study in how horrifically a business can be run when uneducated millennials, who are more concerned with the positioning of their stupid crop tops than actual work, are at the helm of a business. Everyone in here has some incredibly misplaced sense of entitlement. Youre all children, and the adults that have to deal with you when they come in begin to slowly develop an acute fear for the future of this country out of your complete lack of responsibility and maturity. I went in to sell some clothes and was told the "certified buyer" wasnt in yet because "she rides her bike to work and gets in a little late." Now every human with a smidge of rational thinking is saying to their self...well if she uses a slower means of transportation why doesnt she just leave earlier? But people, she is the certified-freaking-buyer at a resell clothing store ran by Mumford and Sons fans. Shes certified in buying used Forever 21 sundresses and Old Navy leggings, so calm down peasants, shell get there when she damn well pleases. This place is a deplorable joke and a standing testament to the total childish lack of maturity which currently plagues teens-20 somethings in this country. We dont need Trump because 19 year olds wearing their dads fishing cap to look "unique" are making America great- again one certified buy at a time.

Horrible customer service!!! The lady at the counter was taking her sweet sweeeeeet time ringing me up. I was in a hurry, asked her to just throw all the clothes in a bag instead or neatly folding the clothes. She instead folded all the clothes then took off the sensors of the clothes then folded them (AGAIN)! While folding the clothes she would glance up at me then smile. Not a nice hello to see you type of smile. It was a I know exactly what Im doing type of smile. She insisted to put me in the system, refusing to just look up my original account. I gave her my ID too look up my old account, she barely glanced at it. Then said Im not in the system. I asked did you spell it correctly? She looked up from her computer to me with aggravation in her eyes relied, yes. Finally when my purchase was complete she scanned coupons on her computer. One after the other she again took her sweet time. When all the coupons were on the counter she then grabbed the coupons out of my reach and they are not activated unless they are put together. By putting then together she just stapled then. By stapling then together "activated " the coupons. ( not scanning the coupons on the computer) but stapling them. Horrible experience, rude customer service, if I could give a zero star I would.

I visited this store for the very first time. I just have to say Im all about first impressions and this store was really wonderful. Pleasant sales clerks, great prices on name brand items, I was happily impressed and trust me Im not impressed easily. I did check reviews first, saw pretty much all great reviews but I came across this one super bratty review. (anhelicea) First off this bratty customer actually had the audacity to complain about this store FOLDING her clothes. WOW! Folding her clothes. That is such a horrible thing. So horrible in fact I think I will vomit on myself (said with A LOT OF SARCASM if anyone cant tell) second the kind sales clerk gave her coupons when she didnt have to therefore SAVING this BRAT DUMB reviewer A TON of money on products that are ALREADY cheap. What? OMG! SAVING MONEY? How DARE this store do that! How could they!? What a horrible thing to SAVE money! (said oozing with sarcasm for those who did not catch on) If youre so stupid to NOT enjoy GREAT customer service than DO NOT go to this store! However, if you are one of those people who LOVE great customer service than I highly recommend this place. Thank you to Uptown Cheapskate for the pleasant experience, I will return again.

I was shopping in the Platos Closet in Bountiful and somebody put a flyer on my car window in the parking lot of the Platos Closet for the new uptown cheapskaet in Bountiful, so I drove over there. The store is very white, white walls, plain white, glaringly white. Almost everything in there is new and pretty expensive. There were 5 of the same new shirt in my size, and three other used shirts to choose from, two of them were plain black. I thought it was kinda rude of them to put a flyer on my car in their competetors parking lot, but anything to get people in the door right? There were some new man made material boots in my size, but no leather boots, and no used boots. They were priced about the same as in the mall. Its very difficult to get in and out of their parking lot. I had to wait several minutes to turn onto the street because the road was jam packed. If you only have time to shop one store in Bountiful, Id highly suggest the Platos Closet. If you are looking for new expensive clothes you could try Uptown or Addiction after you have shopped the bargains at Platos. This store is ok. Nothing to write home about.

I saw this store online and wanted to sell or get credit on my items and to check out what this store was about from the reviews. I have never been treated so rude from any store before until now. This is a consignment store and I felt like Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" when she tried to shop and the treated her like crap instead I wasnt shopping. They did NOT even give me much time to browse around when the first young girl told me that it was gonna take thirty minutes to go through the items but a couple minutes later, another older lady came and talked and she didnt want any of my items, she was already in a bad mood. I watched and heard them. They were so freakin RUDE. They did NOT even go through all the items. Their excuse was the items I brought were NOT what they were looking for. They gave me a sample card list of items that they want. I was so PISSED off that the items I brought in were listed on that card. Never going back there unless they get new management.

After getting used to some of the other used clothing stores in the area you always get the feeling like you dont know what to expect coming away from them. I went to Uptown Cheapskate expecting that and I was very impressed. The locale and ambiance is cool to say the least. The feel of the store was more like a new clothing shop w/ cool music playing and wakeboarding videos on the flat screen. In terms of quality of the clothes, their clothes are WAY better than any used clothing store Ive ever been to. Basically I came away with pretty much brand new name-brand clothes for 1/3 the cost. Some of the other used clothing shops around are stocked with old stuff that looks shady and feels like a homeless person brought them in. Uptown Cheapskate is heads and shoulders above the rest. Nicely done

Absolutely terrible!!! I have tried 2 of the 3 stores and both were terrible. The downtown store I walked on at 7:03. They couldnt do anything for me. It took 10 minutes to find a parking spot and then had a walk, and then to be turned away. I could understand if it was 10-15 after 7:00. I drove a long way and then to be turned away was awful. There was not anyone on the store to top it off. I checked the website again and IT DOES NOT SAY A TIME THAT YOU STOP TAKING THINGS!!! terrible customer service! The Murray store stinks like dirty clothes and the employees look the same. Both of the stores I have been to need instructions on how to treat a customer and how to look professional. I dont even think you deserve one star.
