I highly recommend Dr. Akers. I have been seeing him since Jan. 2007. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and conscientious. He is extremely professional and dedicated to the well being of his patients. Eye care is not just his profession but also his calling. Both my daughter (keratoconus) and I (after affects of 1980 RK surgery) have some less common problems but he has helped us greatly by fitting us for contact lenses. He is most recently fitting me for Gentle Molding contacts that are worn while you sleep. During the day I will not have anything in my eyes so sweat, wind, dust and swimming will not be a problem. Pros He has knowledge in a wide variety of uncommon eye problems. He is very patient and dedicated in pursuing the best results possible. The great office staff is always friendly and ready to assist in any way possible. Cons There is only one of him and many people that need his help.

In this economy its thrilling to know that there is someone who will still take the time to address ALL of your concerns. There are no shortcomings that this Dr and his office dont make up for. I am amazed at the service I was provided. Not once did I feel rushed or disregarded. I have found the eye center that I will use for the rest of my life.

I see Dr. Akers and have been very impressed by him as well as his staff, not only by the technology they use in the practice, but they are knowledgeable and courteous professionals. My son had an emergency injury and although he was not a patient (too young) Dr. Akers saw him immediately! I would definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Akers does an amazing thorough exam. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and is serious about the care and health of your eyes. His staff is delightful and very caring. Very calm and relaxed atomsphere. Also, they have a great selection of eyewear. We always recommend Dr. Akers and his staff to our family and friends.

I have been going to see Dr Akers for years ow as well as my kids. I first thought for my son that never in a million years will a 5 year old boy do all the eye tests....well to my suprise the staff and Dr Akers did an amazing job. I would recommend them to everyone. I still see him even though I moved to Buckeye.

Made a family appointment for myself, husband and two young children. The doctor and staff are just wonderful! The Doctor is especially thorough with an awesome "bedside manner". I highly recommend Akers Eye Care Center, our family will be returning year after year. 5 stars!
