I have been smoking hookah for about 6 months and started by buying a used one on craigslist. It was a fine starter as I didnt want to spend a lot of money to find out that I didnt like it. It turns out we love to smoke hookah, especially with friends on the weekend, and needed an upgrade when the Craigslist one started to fall apart last night at about 9:15 pm. We live around the corner from A and R and were glad to see they were open. We went in and were greeted warmly by Mike. He helped us pick out a hookah based on how many hoses we wanted. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (and some things we didnt). He threw in a small box of shisha, tongs, another hose and connector (which he installed for free), a bowl screen, some extra foil and a hacky sack! He was genuinely happy to help us. He said he normally closes at 9 but he was waiting for his brother and he decided to stay open. Im really glad he did! That night we smoked the new hookah for the first time and noticed the grommet connecting the stem to the vase was really loose. I called Mike to make sure he was there on a Sunday and he was. He said he would fix it for free if I brought some electrical tape. He quickly fixed it and traded me some more shisha for the tape and threw in some incense after refusing our request to pay him for it. A and R Smoke Shop and Mike are great and will go above and beyond to make you happy. Please go see him and give him business because its these kind of people that deserve to be successful. You wont be disappointed and will become a loyal customer.

Whatever you do, dont buy any electronic devices from this shop. I have recently bought ecig for over $80, and since day 1 I started to have problems with. At first the battery would just shut off during inhalation like its low on juice, and after 5 sec would show that there is actually 75% in it. That was really annoying since every other time I go use it it would shut off on me. On next day, I couldnt use it at all since ohms would just stay at 9.9 and it wouldnt work at all. I went back to that place to see if they can exchange it for me. They said we know nothing, all sales are final. Have a good day sir! So, if you need to buy tobacco from them go ahead, for any other products stay away!

Nice people. Greet you every time you walk through the door even if there is another customer. They will help with anything as soon as you walk in and not wait for you to ask for help. Its like they want you in and out as quickly as possible without being rude and always having a smile. I would rather not spend endless time shopping and get out so I love this place

Used to come here often because their tobacco products are great. Bought a vaporizer for 4th of July - had to return it cuz it didnt work. Bought another yesterday - they refuse to take it back cuz its been used.. How are you supposed to know if it works?? Which it doesnt! What a waste of money. Definitely one smoke shop off my list.

Jeremy and the rest of the crew are incredible. Ive been going here for 2 years for their prices and service. I bought a bad coil here and they did troubleshooting and maintenance in the store, and replaced it for free! As a vape noob, I appreciated the extra help. Thanks guys!
