This Home Depot is a total disaster. I went to Home Depot and the door greeter couldnt even direct me to the return counter in a respectful manner. I asked her where the return desk was, she pointed to the light fixtures in the ceiling. I asked her, "What, is it in the lighting fixtures, do I need a ladder?" She angrily said, "No I told you over there." I said, "No, youre a liar, you pointed at the lighting display." I went up to the counter and returned an item. The Clerk told me, "There you go." I responded, "No, there you go and here I go the hell out of here." They want to talk to everyone like they are losers. I went over two Isle 9 and asked a worker, where are the water filters? He responded hatefully, with an over-animated response, reaching over his shoulder, pointing his finger down, with the most disrespectful behavior you could ever imagine, and said, "They are over there on the next isle." As I walked away, I overheard a lady say to him, "If you would have talked to me like that, I would have told you where to go." This is the second time this worker has done this to me. I am new to this town, and have been to this store twice, and both times, this nasty individual has greeted me with nothing but contempt and disrespect. The next day, I went to Home Depot to confront this nasty individual and was unable to find him. I explained to another worker the situation and the reason why I did not deal with it yesterday was because I had a gun on me. And, that people will lie and make false claims when you are carrying a weapon. So today, I have no weapon and I am here to deal with this situation, call the manager. He immediately called the manger and said someone was over here talking about a gun. This person was so dishonest that he misrepresented the truth, began triangulating, moved to the third phase of jealousy and envy, and began stroking his ego - completely and totally dysfunctional. He was so incompetent that he was unable to engage in an intelligent conversation. Just like I said, If you make a complaint, people will lie and make false claims when you are carrying a weapon. Shortly thereafter, I spoke with the manager, Kenny, and he told me that I wasnt allowed to say the word gun in the store. I told him, "Dont even go there". The manager is totally incompetent - apparently, hes on some ego trip. If there was an issue with a gun (which there wasnt) but if there was, it needs to be addressed and understood by having a intelligent conversation, not by hiding your head in the sand and hoping it will go away. Being proactive and an effective communicator is the key to address issues, not by hiding from them. Now I know why this place is so dysfunctional. When you have a manager that doesnt know what he is doing, you will have workers that dont know what they are doing. 1) You cannot take the peoples first amendment rights away? 2) You have people carrying guns everywhere, but you cant say the word gun? 3) Its legal to carry guns in Arizona, but its illegal to say the word gun? 4) How are you going to address any situation if the people are forbidden to speak? 5) Whats the saying "If you see something, say something" thats not allowed here, either? I have only been here three times, and all three times were a disaster. The workers here act as if harassing the customers is part of their Job Description. Arguing and being disrespectful is their area of expertise. All of this dysfunction means there is little to no training and/or there is no accountability or consequences for their horrible behavior. This place is need of a serious reorganization.

This Home Depot serves the absolute minimum level someone can expect from a home project/building supply chain. It will have some of the things you need usually with no variety or choice at all, but many things youll have to look elsewhere to find. (Try True Value across the road, much more expensive but at least they have what youre looking for.) Dont expect any of the workers to help you find the things you need either, most are completely without even the slightest knowledge on anything vaguely related to the aisle theyre assigned. Many times sending you to opposite end of the store looking for something only to find out they had no idea what you were talking about and probably just wanted you to go away. Not surprising with how rude most are seconds into any question. At the end of the day if youre trying to save some money and dont mind spending extra time looking for things yourself it will serve its purpose. But if youre a picky person or want any variety at all try somewhere else.

My brother, husband and I drove from Kansas City to Kingman to put up a vinyl fence for my mother who is a widow. We got our delivery on time from Dennis who was more than helpful in placing the fencing where we could pick it up easily. Then everytime we went to the store for more supplies he and the employees would always come up to us to see what help we neededThey evn knew my dogs name Norm by weeks end. I cant say enough about the incredible service as we dont see that in KC. Thanks for taking care of my mother!!!!

Service was great especially by the Air force Veteran who help me out by making my keys, but Im not understanding how you can have Veterans work for you but yet you wont honor them by giving them the 10% discount 365 days a year as we are still at war and anyone who has fought or is fighting for this awesome county or ours deserves the up most honor and respect and Im sure 10% is not going to put Home Depot out of business. Sincerely, One Proud American

I rented a chainsaw from the tool department I get to the job to cut down tree after using it for not even 5 mins it breaks. I take it back and they exchange it for another one. I get back,to my job and the one they give me the second time wont start. I take it back and they wont refund my,money. Its funny how businesses think they can legally rip hard working people off. BEWARE dont rent any tools from their tool department

Extremely slow. 5 people walked by and never asked if we needed help. Had to wait for more than a half hour to get wood cut. A customer helped my husband with something you carried that employee said you didnt have. You could tell he had no idea what my husband was looking for. If I have my way we woll never come back here. Only the stupid and lazy should apply should be a pre exquisite for applying here.
