The Parking Lot is completely NON Functional. They must have hired nimrods outta Tennessee to Pave the Parking Lot. What a FUBAR. Anyways when I walked into this Walmart my nipples almost shot off my chest. I connected to the wifi, then downloaded a temperature app. It was 65 Degrees in the entire walmart store. Since this store is in Alabama where it was 95 degrees outside thats kind of really burnin up power bills in the local area. I think itd be smarter to apply the power wasted at the tallassee Walmart to something of value. Like having fun with OUR Kids in Tallassee. This isnt a Super Walmart or a Neighborhood Market Walmart...matter of fact, if youre from a typical American city, youll wonder if the place even sells groceries, from the look of the front. The width of the store is deceptive, really. This place is damned near as big as a normal Super Walmart, although the selection isnt as vast. The parking lot is, as usual, designed by third-graders holding dull Crayolas in both fists while pitching temper tantrums. That said, if you are at Lake Martin, this is the closest actual grocery store. The fresh meat selection sucks, but the produce section is fine. The several times that I went, there was never a wait to check out and the employees were friendly.

Lynn, the associate I met upon entering the store treated me with contempt when I asked for simple directions to the pharmacy. Later, I had to wait until her and a co-worker were done socializing before she could answer my question about housewares, (and she was wrong; the item I needed was in hardware). The electronic department was out of stock on the 32" TV I wanted, and the associate could not tell me when theyd have it in stock again. She could not even offer me a comparable model at a competitive price. Just terrible service.

Just go ahead and drive to the next Walmart that pops up on the GPS. So far Ive met ONE worker that knows what hes doing. Customer service is a joke. I dont care if youre smiling when your answers to all my questions are still "I dunno". The cashiers are almost always standing around loudly running their mouths. No one get in a hurry to do anything. Oh, AND they keep their stock in shipping containers in the parking lot! I hope all those bottles of water are BPA free since theyre baking them in the sun.

1 this is NOT a super center. Although this place is only 3 miles from my home. I still have to make the 22 mile trek to the real super Walmart in Wetumpka AL. Who ever does the ordering here needs to change professions. I guess due to the " old money" crowd in this little town. The agreement was that a Walmart could be built but it could not have certain things . They , the old money crowd , didnt want it to affect their own businesses. Not to mention, they owned the land its sitting on (Walmart)

Tallassee Walmart is like a training store for managers. I would suggest if you are looking for a "Walmart" go to anyone of the walmart(supper center) do not waist your time. Tallassees is far from being a Big Box (craker jack box,yes) having said that Walmarts great Free SHIPPING (site to site, for store pick up does make up for another Star. And Friendly staff I gave the other starr for that.

While lacking the wider variety of choices, seen in the bigger stores, this smaller Walmart is hometown with the hometown feel where you know the employees and customers. Its smaller so you can get in and out MUCH quicker than the bigger, more common, Walmart stores.

The locals who staff this place are exceptionally friendly! I have never come away from there without a staff member being friendly or kind. They try to find the answer when I have a question, even when its not their area of expertise.

Got my frozen groceries then put them in my car and my car battery was dead. Went to the service desk to see if I could get a jump and was told they arent allowed to do that without auto service section. What? Not happy.

Store was clean. BATHROOMS was clean and well stocked. Employees was very nice and ready to help. Cashier was fast . You never really have to wait in a long line. They will open up a new line. Pharmacy is awesome
