The best thing about this grocery is that its open 24 hours. Parking at any time of day is always a nightmare, and the prices gouge the dwellers of this inner city neighborhood, but its been around for decades. Its something of an institution. Its convenient location & hours of operation, cleanliness, friendly staff, and fairly wide variety of staples (and even a few "exotic" products) make this a go-to destination. Sometimes they have fairly decent sales on meats. They also serve really good, fresh, pre-packaged sushi (half off on Wednesdays) prepared at a local location, which has been a delightful discovery.

I love supporting local businesses and love that theyre a grocery option located in the downtown area but I just cant support this Western Supermarket location. The employees are unpleasant, they stock expired goods and moldy produce and the store smells like ammonia which is very troubling. Ive been in the supermarket several times on different days at different times of the day and its always the same story. I hate to say it but I would not recommend this location to any patron.

It is very small, which means it lacks inventory. If you go at night, you might be waiting 10+ minutes to check out. Although you might not even get a chance considering the even smaller parking lot is almost always full.

The prices are awfully high especially if you live in the neighborhood and are a senior. They have discontinued products that sell really good and I happen to.really like. Most of the staff is nice and try to help you.

Best place for shopping and to get something to eat during your lunch break. They have a wing bar and other side dishes. Only grocery store Ive been in with different varieties of things! Dont forget affordable

I love this store. The food bar has great food! I love the meat and two option. Parking can be tough if its busy. Store is small, but it has a huge variety of items! It is a wonderful place to grab lunch to go!

The only reason you should shop here is because its open 24 hours. The place is gross and smells bad but when its 3am your only other choice is Walmart, and thats why Ill keep coming back.

Cheapest kegs (PBR) in birmingham. $73, plus $10 tax, and only $30 deposit on the keg . I was told they sell them at price and make no money off them.
