Old store. Excellent employees. Cost plus 10% means they sale the product for the same price they bought it and add 10% for profit. Cash Savers has same concept. To put to the test i puchased 5 items from Food Outlet and total came to about $12. I then went up the street to Winn Dixie and purchased EXACT same items and the total came to around $25. I understand folks feel like they are getting over on but honestly regardless of the complaints ive seen from "trashy people" to long lines due to EBT users to smelly store...you will save on your food bill here and frankly thats all that matters to me.

I like the prices of their product but I hate the fact that they charge cash paying customers THREE( 3)different totals at the register.... They charge you 3 different prices if your not paying with food stamps.ITS The cost of the item, the cost of tax, and the cost of tax a second time..I got some food items that was 70 bucks, but after being charge two more times for tax, I ended up paying 93 dollars...where is the so call savings cash saver? I hate this..dont shop here if you dont get food stamps..ITS A RIP OFF

I have always had a bad experience at this store . The managers are messy and treat their employees poorly . They expect them to do $10 an hour work for $7.25. I NEVER feel welcomed at this store . They should really fire the entire management and start alllll the way over . Terrible place!!!!!! I would not recommend this store to ANYONE!!!!! They dont deserve even one star but I had to put it to post.

This is a great place to get meats at a good price! Its a small food outlet, but they carry the basics, and you can get pretty much anything you need with the exception of cigarettes and alcohol. The location is convenient for anyone in the Eastbrook/Morningview area, and they also have a small gas station with good prices. Overall, the prices for meat simply cant be beat!

They CHARGE and extra whole 10% after taxes they call this a sur plus tax. Im Pretty sure its illegal to do. They CHEAT people out of more money ! I FEEL SORRY FOR THE ELDERLY THAR I SEEN SHOPPING THERE. THEY NEED THEIR MONEY THE ELDERLY ARE ON BUDGET . SOME DONT HAve transportation and only option is going to that RIP OFF of a store. SHAME !

Dirty from the moment you walk in ,the customer service is poor and I had an employee named Chris in the meat department who went into the back yet never returned with what I asked as if he didnt want to help me. Meat left unrefrigerated on sales floor. Everyone including the management are rude and disrespectful.

Not a bad place to shop. Their meat is excellent, same quality as super foods and Foodland, wayyyyy better than Walmart meat. Just be aware there is a 10% surcharge on top of your 10% sales tax.

Not to many options, but good value. A lot of EBT buyers so be prepared for long lines and people buying better food with your tax dollars than you are buying for yourself.
