I had the worst thanksgiving meal ever. The turkey tasted like Spam and they didnt seem to notice when I left a full plate on the table after being offered a to go box repeatedly. Just a very crappy experience. The waitress took the drink order then a different waitress came out and said that my waitress had gone home and she was my waitress and to "bare with her" because she was new, on Thanksgiving day, oh please. Then we were offered the option of cornbread then when our lukewarm food arrived we were told that they didnt have cornbread would we like biscuits or to wait on cornbread? The original waitress came by and explained that they changed their stations after she had started waiting on us. Well in no time the "new" waitress came by while I was picking at my food and shoved a microscopic piece of pumpkin pie at me I mean handed it to me she didnt ask if we were ready for desert just well it comes with it. I told her that I dont like pumpkin pie so she rushed off and came back with a cold piece of apple pie and started her annoying questions about a go box. First of all I needed the pie to go but if I wanted it there I wouldve wanted it hot. Its 4 oclock Thanksgiving Day and I am hungry because Cracker Barrels food sucked that much. But trying to be nice I let them get away with it. After all we should be extra grateful to them for coming to work today. Emily should stay home if she is that ignorant of how a dining experience is supposed to play out. I finally called over another staff member and got a go cup of tea because Emily didnt offer me that. I really would like a future complimentary breakfast because that is the only reason to ever go there. They do not know how to cook.

Giving one star because I have to. After a football tournament and my grandson playing 3 football games we were in on Saturday at 3:15pm. Were told it would be a few minutes they needed to bus some tables. It was not busy at all. After just a minute another lady came back to seat us on a cramped up table for four when we had 5 people. However once we were seated there were alot of tables that needed to be cleaned. We were told Carl would be our waiter and he would be right with us. After a few minutes a girl came by and took our drink orders so after about 5 minutes we did have drinks. The manager brought some biscuits by I guess to try to keep us there. By the time another waitress came by and took our order and it was placed at 3:46 according to my ticket. Keep in mind we still have not seen Carl. When we were almost done eating after finally getting our food Carl comes by to refill drinks. Then tries to bring us a piece of cake out which no one wanted. When I went to check out I told the lady who checked us out. And she said I could speak with a manager so she called for a manager. After about 10 minutes of waiting I told her I had been there long enough and I was leaving. She again tried to call a manager and said she needed someone up there now. After a minute nothing so I left. The worst service I have ever received from a cracker barrel. The whole 2 hours we were there a manager never came by and asked anything. There were others who were seated that Carl told he would be with them in a minute that ended up getting up and leaving.

Awful!!! Food took over an hour other tables that came well after us got their food. Waiter said they were backed up but when we got it, it was Luke warm. Ive worked in the industry so I was trying to give it a pass but by now my very hungry one year old was attracting a lot of attention so when he told me they were running slow I said thats fine just bring boxes. He didnt and we were left with our getting cold food and my now screaming kid and we cant leave because we still have to get our check. All of the guests have noticed us but the staff was oblivious, mind you its not busy. I track down the hostess who was incredibly sweet She got her manager to bring the ticket. I gave the female manager on duty my card, and was trying to box my food so we could leave and get my fussy kid out of there. She watches me and says do I need to get this (referencing that you pay at the front) I was annoyed but said, "thats fine I will do it". She said " No, ill get it you calm down". ......I have obviously had enough and that was the final straw. I walk to the front where shes complaining about her having to run the card. I ask if there is another manager and then I did confront her about telling me to calm down, I explain that I just waited over an hour for food and did nothing to invoke the statement. She said she was talking to herself, I just left because it was obvious I was getting nowhere.

I went to this Cracker Barrel location with my husband and one year old. The host was very rude, didnt make eye contact, and was visibly arguing with a fellow employee. Before we were even seated our overly eager waitress asked us what we wanted to eat/drink. To sum up, we were rushed to a table in the middle, huddled around everyone, in a nearly empty cracker barrel with an obviously upset toddler, a dazed or obviously waitress who really had no customer service. It was not a pleasant experience.

We normally meet my fiancés mom here on Thursday night so she can see our son. I dont think weve had a good experience here in awhile though. We normally dont get our drink order in for about 10-15 minutes, and then it is awhile before our food order gets taken. Then its about a 30 minute wait to get our food. I get people have off days and sometimes they are short-staffed, but it shouldnt be like this every time we go. We would choose some where else if it werent for his mom choosing to go here.

They were extremely busy and you could tell it was a struggle on New Years Day to serve the crowd they had. The team seemed to have a huge attitude about it. However the manager on duty did the right thing for us. I just feel badly for the other guest that left with zero service. I am giving 5 Stars only because I know they got the crap beat out of them that day and you could see they were all hustling. Just maybe do so without the attitude next time. A smile goes a long way with guest.

Arrived at 7:45 pm...dinner for one. Restaurant was probably at 15% capacity. Waited at least 10 minutes for a server. Was never acknowledge by any staff after being seated by the host. Voiced my displeasure to the host when I left without ordering and he couldnt even remember seating me... its not like there were tons of people there. Went directly to the Waffle House where I got good food and excellent service.

This specific cracker barrel is not managed well. So slow. We go at least 2 to 3 times a month and have been forgotten about several times. It usually takes 10 minutes before someone even takes our drink order. Once we receive our food we never see our waiter again. We keep going back for the food cravings but question ourselves each time. When Ive ordered take out twice it hasnt been correct....
