The best thing about this store is the self-scanner system that lets you scan each of your items as you take them off the shelf and put them right into your bags! No lifting everything back out onto a belt and then bagging frantically at the checkout. It lets me bag things at my own pace in the way I like to. Saves time and frustration! The store has pretty good bakery and deli sections. I dont think I would come here for fresh seafood. The produce section doesnt have a ton of variety, but otherwise, I can almost always find whatever ingredients Im looking for.

Overall, this Stop & Shop has just about everything one could hope to find in a grocery store. They have a decent special cheeses section, some pretty good "international" sections, and the produce is usually pretty good. For some reason, they seem to have trouble keeping pre-packaged butter lettuce in stock, but otherwise, we rarely have a problem finding what we need. A handy feature is the Redbox inside. I think of it as a companion to the one in the plaza across the street - if one doesnt have what Im looking for, the other probably will.

Everyone is nice at this store except the lady at the deli I think her name is Denise, she needs a laxative, shes a know it all who talks to you like she is ready for an argument, when I see her it makes me want to turn around and leave the store her personality is the opposite of the other deli people, even the young boys that work there are polite and cheerful...she should be in a stock room away from customers shes a dark cloud.

The girl that helped me was terrific. Her name is Chelsea and I needed potatoes and apples and she was so nice! I will definitely be returning! Great job on a terrific staff!
