As any local resident knows when it comes to local record stores there just arent any except for dig music. This place has a very very friendly staff and a selection that is constantly being updated with new releases. Its a small shop so dont expect them to have every obscure record youre looking for but they do have a great eclectic selection and they gladly place orders and listen to suggestions. My personal plea is that if you live in the area and you want to support culture and music please support Dig Music. Indie record stores are a dying breed vital to a community so please get off your couch and by a CD here rather than amazon. My only gripe with the place is that their used vinyl selection lacks inspiration and is too small to be taken seriously (thus 4 stars rather than 5). Vinyl trading is a rough and tuff game these days so knowledge on pricing and selection is very important (expect to pay way too much for the wax u can find at outta 9 outta 10 garage sales). Not to end on a sour note, Dig Music is nothing less then a local treasure Ukiah should be proud to have.

They can order you pretty much any rare cd there is, and their selection of new music is always up to date and not partial to any genre (like big box stores) they sell it all here! A CD store for everyone! Stop buying your songs on digital downloads!!!

Dig! Music is a cool little shop located in downtown Ukiah. They have a wide selection of music and get new releases every Tuesday. Im making it a point to buy 1 or 2 CDs there a month now in order to better support my local community.
