This shop is huge in comparison to other bike shops in the area. I have been in twice, I was hoping that Performance would have less of the "I am a bicycle god and you are a total idiot" attitude from the staff that seems to prevail at the more established stores in town. No such luck. The repair staff seems to be nice and they fixed my problems quickly while I waited, but I would have almost gone without the repair to avoid having to talk to the halfwit they had working the sales floor and cash register. Obviously Tommys brother or good friend gifted him the job, as he could never have hidden his crap-for-personality from a legitimate interviewing manager. Some people should not work in positions where they have to interface with the public, prime case in point: Tommy. Advice for Tommy: When riders come into your store, people who will need service, repairs, and parts month in and month out for the next decade or so, people who RIDE, bad idea to talk down to them, they are your potential gold mine over time customers. I am sure lots of people who might casually ride a bit will continue to give Performance business. As for myself, I am back to NorCal or Trek.

went in to ask for some help installing a bike rack.just wanted to be sure i was doing it correctly.I told the young kid id bought a bike there a few years back.he says "sure no prob let me tell my mgr,be right back". comes back and tells me "theres a 25.00 charge".now i gotta say,there were more salesmen just hangin around the front desk doing nothing.not the same shop i went into 5 yrs ago.so i went down the road to Norcal,and they couldnt have been nicer.problem solved,goodbye dreck...

Great selection of bikes, very good customer service. On two separate occasions I was helped by very knowledgeable staff members. Kevin helped me while purchasing a bike for my wife and was great. I liked that we were able to test the bikes out in their very large parking lot before buying. Thats a huge help. I would definitely buy from them again.

Rarely have I experienced such outstanding customer service. I dont normally write these online reviews, but the exceptional service at Performance Bicycle has prompted me to do so. The staff, with a special shout out to the mechanics, were knowledgeable, efficient, and cheerful. Really hope this business gets the recognition it deserves.

The manager is beyond arrogant here. Simply ask for a discount when buying multiple bikes and get told in a condescending manner that they dont offer it. You may not offer it but you dont have to be arrogant about it. Customer service is key in this day and age.
