Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered four ATV tires on a Sunday, I called Monday to confirm the order and to see when they were going to ship. I was told they were shipping that day and that I would be getting an email with a tracking number. I never got a tracking number but on Wednesday of that same week I received two of the four tires that I ordered. I called again to see where the other two tires were at, and was told they shipped from two different warehouses and I would be getting them soon. I asked for a tracking number, and they told me they could not provide one, but I would be getting an email that evening with a tracking number. Thursday comes around, no tires show up, and no tracking number is emailed, but I did receive another email showing the other two tires as a separate and new order. I called again, to see where my tracking number was. I was told by a very rude employee that they didnt get a tracking number because they didnt ship from their California warehouse, and that basically I would get my tires when I get them. I called back to complain about the customer service and was greeted by another very rude employee that basically told me the same thing. After two rude employees, and no idea when my tires are going to arrive, I decided to send a complaint email about their service. The reply I received made the situation much worse. I was told that "I barely placed the order today, and I didnt receive a tracking number because I gave them a misspelled email address". They blamed me for giving them a bad email address, as the reason for no tracking number, but my conformation email for my order was sent minutes after my order, and I received it with no problem. I also called three times and they refused to give me a tracking number, so blaming me was very poor. They generated a separate order afterwards then said the order was placed that day. Then they gave me a tracking number for the two tires that were already delivered, like that somehow helps. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. I wouldnt order from this half assed company again if they were the only ATV parts dealer in the country.

Extremely poor performance. I will no longer use them as a supplier. Needed 3 gaskets for a track bike. Time was critical. Called and was told all 3 were in stock, and WOULD ship that day (friday). 2 of them showed as 1 on hand, so I explicitly asked as that concerned me, being that inventory systems can often be slightly off. I was told that they would absolutely ship that day, and if there were any problems I would get a call that day to let me know. Next day (today) checked order status, which showed as not having shipped. Called, and got a rude customer service rep. I explicitly stated that I simply needed to know if the order had in fact shipped or not, within the hour - as local shops close at noon on Saturdays and are closed on Monday. She was unhelpful and said that a "supervisor" would call me back. I again reiterated the importance of hearing back within the hour, which she disregarded. Hours later, I finally got a call from a supervisor who informed me that not only had the parts not shipped, but they did not have 1 of the gaskets (which I clearly stated my concern about on Friday). The rep had NOT informed the supervisor of the time issue so he was not aware of it. The initial sales rep either did not follow through, or picking/shipping disregarded the issue on Friday night. The result is that there is no possibility of getting the gaskets before Thursday at the earliest - and more likely, on Friday - as Chaparral cant even get them ordered until monday at the earliest. In every aspect, Chaparral failed, and additionally provided extremely poor - and rude in the case of the initial representative on Saturday morning - service. The order is canceled, and I will never, ever, consider using Chaparral for any purchase in the future. There are simply too many other vendors out there, and when every aspect of a sales engagement fails combined with rude and disrespectful service such as this happens, there is absolutely no reason to ever consider using them again. This is unfortunate, as Chaparral years ago used to be a great company to buy from.

Large store, but thats about the only good thing. Their inventory system is seriously flawed. And their customer service people are poorly trained, and rude. Ive had many negative experiences there, so heres just a few- and indicative of what you can expect if you shop there. For one, you CAN NOT trust them. I checked stock on their website for an OEM part- it was listed in green and said quantity of 3. Okay, so I drove 60 miles to go pick it up. When I got there, sorry its not in stock. Computer error. Ordered it from ebay. Next time I needed a part, I called first to verify it. BTW it takes 15-25 minutes to answer the phone EVERY TIME. Try it yourself. Finally the person answers, and says yes, its in stock. For sure. So I drive there, and guess what? NOT IN STOCK. So they just lied saying they physically went and checked it for me. The next time, I placed an order on their EBAY store, because I didnt feel like driving there. Again, they said they had EIGHT (8) of the items I wanted available. 4 days later I get a message saying sorry, we actually have to order it from the manufacturer. WTF. Dont bother trying to use the for tire installations- if you dont buy the tires from them, then they wont install them. Losers. They dont stock the tires I use. They also wont service a bike older than 2005. Again, WTF. Do your research BEFORE buying something from them, I mistakenly thought they could do the simple task of selling me an oil filter. NOPE. They looked it up after I told them what bike it was for, and gave me the wrong one. Honestly, they do EVERYTHING wrong. Anyone who shop there is treated like a criminal, as they make you show your reciept when you leave. Its just not worth it. Now I wont buy anything from them except oil, because they sell the brand I use for $9 cheaper per gallon then everyone else and always have it in stock. But pretty much any part you need can be found online cheaper. For some reason, they have really good prices on oils/fluids/chemicals though.

12 May 2013 – Called parts department and asked cost and availability of new chain and both sprockets. I was told they have them for $61.67. I asked to be transferred to the service department and asked cost of replacing the chain and sprockets plus a scheduled maintenance. I was told $120 to change the chain and sprockets and $200 plus $50 for parts for scheduled maintenance. 13 May 2013 – Took motorcycle to service department and was told scheduled maintenance was $280 plus parts. I told about the prior days telephone call. I was told it wasnt him and he takes no responsibility for who ever answerd the telephone. I went to the parts department and discovered they didnt have the sprokets but could get them in on 15 May 2013 and would call me that morning. I paid for the parts and took the chain to the service department. 15 May 2013 – Called parts department in the afternoon to inquire about the sprokets. They werent in bu would be in on 19 May 2013 and they would call me. 20 May 2013 – Called parts department and was told both parts not in yet. 22 May 2013 – Called parts department and parts were in. I asked to be transferred to the service department so I could have them get the parts from the parts department. I was told I had to come to the parts department in person and take the parts to the service department. I walked 1.3 miles to the bus stop, took the bus 3.3 miles to the transfer station, and walked 1.7 miles to shop. Once there, I went to the parts department and picked up the parts and took them to the service department. Then I retraced my steps home. This all took well over an hour and a half that would have taken the service department a couple of minutes. 24 May 2013 – Picked up my motorcycle ten days after taking it to Chaparrel for what should have been a one day service. I have never before in my life been the victim of such lieing and hostile customer service by a business before. I will never go back and would recommend against anyone else going here.
