Went here back in October of 2014(10/6/14 @ 1pm) to purchase a toolbox for a new job. I had just moved into town 350 miles away from home and was living 50 miles away from my work... I called about the rental truck and the guy said he could only hold if i called 30 minutes in advanced... On my way there when I was 25 minutes away I called and he said "ok we will hold the truck for you". Next thing you know I get there and the guy gave it away. He tells me that he is sorry but the other guy called first to hold it or it was at the same time miscommunication... Talked to the manager and this guys story changed to "I never said I could hold it, I never told him that at all because thats not the policy!" Flat out called me a liar when I called him out on it to the manager.. Then the lady who was a manager at the time had the damn nerve to tell me that I have to be lying because hes been here for so long and knows the rules! What????????? I had to just walk out mid conversation before I blew up in this good for nothing managers face. They DO NOT have any type of customer service skills and that manager should be stuck in the back not dealing with anyone

Two employees go above and beyond their call of duty at this store. Larry, that helped me with pipe threading in the plumbing department and in Electrical is Art. Art really knows the electrical code and can answer any questions on the subject if you are not sure. You have to have an electrical background but after that Art is golden. Tell him your project and he will make sure you have everything you need to finish the job when you leave. Im talking a main and sub panel, as well as a simple ceiling fan installation.

Great. Filled the commander to the max...inside and top. Got the no interest deal for like 6 months and had help from one of the employees to load it all. Could have gotten free delivery too but we got it Now. Love home depot. I had my son with me but if I were alone (at 69 years old) I could have gone to the concierge and they would have walked me through the store with my list and pulled items off the tall shelves. Voila.

going through phone hell. Tried to buy a sheet of ply which needed to be cut in order to fit in my car. The panel saw was broken. The cable had hopped the pulley. I decided to call ahead of time to see if it had been fixed and have wasted over 20 minutes calling and recalling even after an associate was looking into it. Am now listening to a rapid busy.

Always come prepared with a list in mind. Dont waste time to find things, download the app. Questions with the associates are a hit or miss, but if you find the right person, getting the job done is all that matters. Stock is not as available as El Monte but has a good tool rental center and cm good pro desk.

Within 30 minutes of speaking to Dustin (a manager), Harrison (another employee) showed up at our home to assist us with our Christmas tree dilemma (the base was uneven). Thanks for being so responsive and providing excellent customer service!

They somehow manage to keep everything maintained and organized. The lines however are long in the mornings from 6-8 AM so if you need to buy something and are short on time come near closing time or later in the afternoon.

Open later otherwise check your boxes, missing stuff, defective or worse, new policy will stick you with anything you buy with store credit is non refundable, so buy a soda and walk out

Rented an auger for digging a couple of holes and found out the blade was worn down to the mark that indicts the bit needed to be change. Otherwise the machine worked well.
