When I asked Bruce how Id go about having family items appraised before I moved, he told me he was "probably the only person in this area capable of doing appraisals" - and that he was once an accredited appraiser himself. Anticipating a hefty fee for all the items Id like valued, I sent him images of two 19th century oils to look up on his membership art databases, and invited him to my home to appraise other items. Bruce looked at all the things I knew had value and many I wondered about, but no evaluations were provided, no notes taken in order to research items like Rookwood, Haviland, Minton, etc., etc.He brought with him a wrinkled printout of sales by one of the artists (he said hed follow through with the second one, but didnt) and left with a collection of glass top hats, a collection of crystal carving knife rests, a Persian Lamb coat of my Mothers, my Fathers top hat from the 1920s, and lots more. And then I never heard from him again. If youre shopping at Heritage Antiques, perhaps youll pick up something carrying a little sentiment from our family - Im just sorry that the store is profiting from them when I would have preferred to just give them to you directly!

Owner allways remembers me and allways has something I like that he is willing to part with and a price I can afford. Every visit I feel like I learned something new. One of the best things I can mention is his Honesty. Several times I have seen him do the right thing and make many people very happy. I have brought my cousins to his store and he is great with them and I would give him 5 stars any day of the week. I am sure that your visit to his store will leave lasting memories. Dont avoid this business it is one of a kind.

BEST PLACE IN EUREKA FOR SILVER, GOLD AND ANTIQUES This is the best place for gold and silver Bruce is always friendly and remembers frequent customers. He actually cares about individuals buying/selling small amounts of silver and gold. Fair prices every time, they will accept any reasonable offer. Great antique store for unique items, and great deals. The new owner William is always fair, and alot nicer then the old owner Bruce. If you had a bad experience in the past I ssuggest a revisit you will be amazed at the didifference.
