Not sure that this place needs a "Google Review" but why not. Its a medium sized convenience store serving the [very] local community- folks living up there, those working in the area (gardeners etc) and people who somehow happen to be on that small rural road (thats me). It has the selection youd imagine of canned & packaged foods, chips, softdrinks, cold beer, maybe liquor (not sure) etc. I stop in there to fill my cycling water bottles from the soda fountain on hot days, I arrive there at the end of long rides in the mountains down south on my loop back home. Theyre always super friendly when I ask about filling my bottles, very good, low-key vibe in there and I recommend it. Park bench outside on the shaded porch/ entrance and classic rock playing through the speakers so you can sit a spell and relax, drink your drink, on your way to wherever youre headed.

A friend parked his car at Chatsworth Lake market at 9:30 pm, market closes at 10:00pm, bought beer from CLM then went to pick up food order at Lennys restaurant, which is right next door, when he returned his car had been towed, no sign posted. Needless to say he wont be purchasing anything at Roys (CLM) anymore which he has done for years and paid the outrageous prices. He has told his story to the rest of the neighborhood and they will also follow suit, great way to burn a bridge, Its one thing if the parking lot is full, but quite another when there are no cars and your closing within minutes. Not the way to stay in business. LOL

Convenient, yet super expensive, Milk products are older than what youd get in the store, be careful of the code dates. Cigarettes are sky-high and they dont like to give you matches to go with the huge cost of buying cigarettes at their store. Seems the owner does not buy from a grocery outlet so that OUR costs can be much lower. Even if the owner shopped at Smart & Final or Costco, or even Walmart, we would have a happier shopping experience here.

OK.. high prices. Lot of not for resale type stuff that is highly over priced. You can go a half mile to ampm a pay much less.
