I am a small business owner myself striving in a tough economy with major corporations taking away my business. With that said- I support the small guys, but I can no longer support this establishment for the sheer fact that they lack in customer service. Twice in the past year I have used their repair or rental services and twice I have walked away feeling like a "peon"- and what makes it worse- it was the owner himself who told my husband or me curtly, "I do not have time to deal with you." Let me make it clear that in both circumstances- we were neither complaining or nor making a fuss- we were just simply returning equipment or trying to pay for services rendered with smiles on our faces. I do not understand how someone can remain in business when they talk to customers the way he did to us. If he hates owning a business and dealing with the everyday challenges it takes to survive, my only suggestion would be to get out of the business. He is the reason why I unfortunately will be going to Walmart or Home Depot to pick up my next monthly $1000 bill worth of equipment I need for my own small business. I suggest you find a different place yourself if you want to be treated like somebody slightly more important than the owner of Tennies measures us as.

Small town Ace that has better deals than some of the big box stores. I will shop them last as it usually is a better unadvertised deal than Menards, Lowes, or Home Depot. Better deal on a Weber grill than anywhere else. Could not advertise the price because it was lower than what Weber would allow to be advertised. All the staff there is knowledgeable and highly qualified to recommend options that usually work.

It was apparent that this place does not want to assist women finding tools. Instead two guy workers attended to one guy inquiring about a lawnmower and sent a 15year old clueless worker to help me. If I wanted to stand there and read every package then I would have never asked for help. Last time I go there. I left without buying a thing. Very disappointed.

Friendly, classic hardware store. Ive purchased major equipment, yard furniture, and had repair work done on lawn equipment. All done fairly with quality and friendliness.

Good local source for woodworking tools and supplies. Better brands than most small hardware stores and they are competitive with the online sources.

Best hardware store around. If thry dont have it, theyll get it. Never been disapointed by parts/rental or the floor guys.
