So every small town has a local grocery store that everyone shops at. Here in RF we have two but I think it is safe to say that most of the people in town shop at Econo Foods or as my wife and I still call it from time to time More4, which dates us a lot but I dont care. The problem with that small town grocery store is they totally rape you on almost everything you buy!! Pros: The staff are all very friendly and willing to help any way they can. The meat department is actually pretty good, I like to shop in the section for stuff that is getting close dated. I have bought rib-eyes steaks for $4 per pound! The bakery is very good, we have bought many a birthday cake, and also like their homemade buns and rolls. Also the liquor store is very well stocked. Cons: ******PRICES***** are really outrageous on some things. If you stick to the weekly sale items you can do pretty good. Cart full of groceries can be $150, same cart load at Aldis is $90

This WAS the best place to shop. Small town feel with great service and awesome employees. Family fresh is now just another corporation implanting itself in a small town. Im sure they have fired a few people to make way for there trashy self checkout line. And the "fresh card" you basically need to shop? And whats with the un-user friendly kiosk. What do the cards even do? Ive asked a few employees with different answers. Whatever happened to heres my money thanks for the goods and service. These corporate pigs treat us like trained monkeys. The employees are still top notch!

Since this store was remodeled & changed to Family Fresh last year, it has become horribly overpriced & very expensive to shop at. Some things have gone up nearly 200% in price since the changes. With very little competition in town, & lots of naive college students to prey on who dont drive, this store really takes advantage with its very high prices. If you can, drive elsewhere to do your grocery shopping. Otherwise expect some sticker shock. The only thing this store offers worth using is its pharmacy. Otherwise avoid this store if you can.

No one ever answers the phone when calling the store. No voicemail or way to leave a message. I guess Ill take my business to Hudson, just wondering if they sell crab legs as I have a very large oder to place. Every time I visit this store we wait in line FOREVER!!! Unfortunatley Ive had a few rude cashiers and Im quite disappointed that we now have to have a card to get their sale prices. Fed up with the service here!

Unless you want to work as a cashier (without getting an employee discount) and scan your own foods, be prepared to wait in line, FOREVER! The store used to be my favorite. Now it feels like a money pinching corporation took over and their take seems to be, "Lets fire the cashiers and watch the customers do their job, for free, for us!"

I avoid shopping here, but on the "North" end of River Falls it is the only option. The lighting is poor, the layout is confusing, the deli is just a bunch of open the containers and slop it in some bowls. This is a very utilitarian store, not a fresh and upcoming concept like most stores are today.

This store has a good deli, bakery and meat section, but otherwise isnt any different than any other grocery store in my opinion. To get the advertised sales, you need to have their "Yes" club card. I have a friend who doesnt like to have his purchases tracked, so he wont shop there.

I loved this place up until they started their new card system. Now you supposedly only receive sales/ discounts if you have an account with them and you have to remember it everytime you check out. If you forget you are sol!
