I had a terrible experience at Walmart tonight. I had purchased a watermelon a couple hours ago, brought it home, cut it in half, and it was bad. I brought the watermelon back to the store along with a toy water gun I wanted to return for instore credit, since I no longer had the receipt. I also did not have my photo ID with me, because I was in a rush (keep in mind it is near 11 pm now). I get to the register, the cashier was extremely rude. She stated she was unable to return the toy or give me an exchange for the watermelon, giving off a bad vibe & attitude. She then called the manager over, who was also rude as well and pretty much stated & reacted the same way as the cashier. I understand their policy calls for either a receipt or photo ID & I could have easily waited another day to bring back my ID in order to return the toy. But as for the watermelon--I only wanted an exchange since it was bad and I had just purchased it not too long ago. I wasnt asking for a whole lot, just an exchange. Festivals & Woodmans never made it a big deal as how these walmart workers did. I took my items back and then called back shortly afterwards & spoke with the director. He was understanding & stated he will have a talk with both associates. He also stated they could have just exchanged the watermelon, it wasnt a big deal. My thoughts exactly! So now, I am trying to boycott walmart as much as possible because a lot of the workers have crappy attitudes. I work as a Customer Service Representative, & I would NEVER speak to my customers they way those two spoke to me today. I would never make them feel down, even if they are "wrong." Ive been hearing how these walmart associates have been trying to fight for a $15 minimum wage--sorry but if you have terrible customer service, dont expect great pay. I would much rather pay a couple more bucks at a different grocery store than risk going back to walmart. Worse experience ever!

I live in lacrosse but go out of my way to come to the onalaska store. Their automotive departments makes a point of being open for checkout which is incredibly convenient for the non-sheeple. This walmart has a dedicated money center instead of having to wait in customer service line for fifteen minutes. The hot foods, fruits, and vegetables have always been fresh. Only one time was I disappointed in the cleanliness of the store and upon introducing this problem to Scott it was fixed immediately. Contrary to the white shirts of the lacrosse store. For example, there was an issue with the lacrosse stores doors functioning safely. I spoke with 4-5 managers at the lacrosse store and EVERY SINGLE ONE ignored this hazardous issue. I had to contact walmart corporate who then put me into contact with, Garin, the regional manager. The lacrosse walmart is garbage in comparison to the onalaska store.

Very lazy staff have called the store numerous times and certain departments wont answer the phone so instead of paging a manager or someone else that can walk to that department and answer my question I was told to look on walmart. Com. When I told the employee that the website said unknown I was told I would have to come in and look myself! Now mind you this Walmart is over an hour away from me so excuse me that I wanted to make sure it was in stock before I made the long drive. I will definitely find a new location to shop where I get treated like a person. What ever happened to the customer is always right?? Guess the customer is not allowed to ask questions anymore so I wont be shopping there anymore!!!

my girlfriend and i came to this store for a few things and had the worst experience. we were at a self check out and the employee attending treated us very poorly and even pushed my girlfriend out of her way. didnt say excuse me or sorry. she just looked at my girlfriend and continued doing whatever she came over to do. not only that but she thought we were stealing because my girlfriend had put a bag on the ground to move it out of the way... i dont know what that lady thought she was doing but she was very rude and were pretty upset that we didnt catch her name. my girlfriend as a former employee with the company, was very dumbfounded that someone could do what she did.

Everything I need I can get at Walmart and I can continue to go about my day, I love it. Convenience, has all I need, quick and easy, a kinda 1 and done store. I love to get what I need and just get out some days to be able to enjoy the rest of my day and you can do that here or choose to take your time and find that certain something you didnt know you were looking for. Great place for all your needs and more.

Great place to get virtually everything you need but it seems like whenever I need something out of the ordinary that is the only empty spot on the shelf. Staff could be better at helping people also. They always just walk by instead of asking if anyone needs help finding anything. Store is nice and clean from what Ive seen.

I always find exactly what I need when I come to the Onalaska Location, it is clean and well organized and staff are friendly and helpful. I am not a huge fan on their produce however it gets bad really quickly so I would recommend Festival or Woodmans for that. Otherwise this is a great place to shop for everything.

I shop there for everything and its always a great price. Its just nice to get your pharmacy stuff, clothes, and groceries, and bullets. One stop shop. They need more help in the check out lines but otherwise pretty good.

Its another Walmart super center. Not sure if its just the familiarity with my local store but Im not a fan of the layout as much here. I think Walmart is changing many of the super centers to be pretty similar though.

Stuff advertised as available in store isnt even sold by Walmart anymore. Prices dont match the website. Manager told me to shop at another competitors store when I questioned him about the inconsistencies.

Great location. Just improved the craft department which means that you definitely have to get over there!! I couldnt believe I was looking at the shelves of my local Wal-Mart store. What an improvement.

Tried to get an item from the app that showed in stock. 1/2 later manager came over and price adjusted an equal item. Great services just knocked on the app being wrong and my time being wasted.

This Walmart seems to always have good inventory and good service! Having traveled and shopped at nearly 100 Walmart stores, we can say that this Walmart has great staff and friendly folks.

I have never had a problem everybody has always been very helpful if I cant find something or cant reach the item very helpful. Check out clerks have always been friendly not a problem .

This place is way over crowded at times, customer service is less than up to par and lastly managerial crew needs to be more knowledgeable on locations of store products.
