I came to this place more than a couple times, walking in, looking around, observing to see what deals they had. I decided to buy a DS game that costed about $20-$25. Cool. I do it. Then I go home, excited to play it. About 10 - 15 minutes in the game it started to freeze and stopped playing. The only way it would work is if you restarted your DS every time. And mind you I have multiple 3DS and DS devices at my home that work great. I try the game out on them and low and behold, this time, about every 5 - 10 minutes the game is starting to freeze. I try it on another and it does the same within the same amount of time, still having to close out of the game and go back in now. So, I say "they sold me a rubbish game. Arent they supposed to try and check things before they sell them?" If not, thats totally fine, they get a lot of stuff in so they dont have time to check them all. So, I calmed myself down and drove back. I stood up there and told them Id like to return the game and get my money back. No where on their website can I find that they do not return money back for games you purchase. When buying a gaming system or game the clerks dont tell you about their return policy and the return policy sign is on a big wall in the back of them that people wouldnt be likely to see unless they were super observant folks. I say "okay, thats fine. Ill just switch it for something else then. Thanks." If they have a sign thats great, not their fault I didnt notice that sign... Not like they couldnt put that warning on their website. That would be a helpful warning. So, I walk over to the game case again and I explain to the man helping me that the game freezes about 5 - 10 minutes into it. Knowing that if he played the game to check for that he would probably notice it freezing 5 - 10 minutes at MAX because I had tested it out on my own on multiple DS and 3DS systems. So, the man says "okay, Ill test it out." He gets a DS and a charger and goes to check the game. Im pleased by this, hey he actually listened to me and decided to check it too. So, I get a different game, definetly not as cool as the game I wanted to get that kept freezing, but certainly a classic. We buy it, the game was fine no problems, still happy with it. The problem started when I came back to the store a few days later, I go to the gaming case and notice that the game I told them didnt work, the game they tested, was sitting there for the same price I had bought it for. So, they get someone to tell them something doesnt work, that the person tested it on multiple devices and it still didnt work, they test it themselves, I know that 5 - 10 minutes MAX into the game itll freeze... They dont seem to care and they sell it again to some other poor soul. They are taking advantage of people and the "only swap no return games and gaming system policy". I sadly cant do any more service here, and I hope anyone looking to shop here will be careful what they choose and ask to test it out first for 10 - 15 minutes at least. Its a shame.

Worst customer service experience ever. I bought a playstation tv console that DID NOT WORK and went to return it a few days after. I was told I had a 7 day return window for money back. When I got there, the person said I could only get in store credit because it is not a console, but a "video game or accessory" and those only have a 7 day exchange. He points to the policy on the wall and it only says video games, not accessories. I argue, saying that it is in fact a console, and NOT an accessory. It is a machine that you plug in to your tv and you can download games and play them. You dont need a ps4 or a ps3. It is not an accessory to any other device. ALL YOU NEED IS THE PLAYSTATION TV. On top of that, the first line on the packaging when explaining the product says "Introducing the playstation tv, the sleek new console." It says it right on the box! When I point this out, he says, its not a console, its an accessory. I show him exactly where it says it and he just continues to say that it is an accessory, not a console. This makes me angry, admittedly more angry than I should have been. He then tells me I need to bring my attitude down or he wont do anything for me at all. RIDICULOUS! As if I needed another reason not to go here. I will never go again.

Ive done business with this Onalaska location at least 6 times. The last time makes me questions if I will return. I believe it was a little after 9am when I went to the counter with a laptop I had traded. The counter guy rudely answered the phone and carried on a conversation before finding out what I wanted after, signaling me from the waiting line, to come to the counter. Then gives his unwanted opinion on how I could have obtained the laptop. Of course, Im holding back choice words from this guy, that should be properly trained, disciplined, or fired. Why hold back? Its, simply, easier to give a proper complaint then to argue, or converse any longer than you have to, with an idiot. Again, all other times have been good deals, coming and going, so there it is, good luck, if you decide to give them a try.

Update! I just spent 130 bucks on a 360, tv and 11 games. Drove 35 min home and found out there was no a v cabal. I celled it in and came back, the staff was very rude and accused la of trying to get a second cabal because they had a hd or what ever it is called cabal. I dont even know what that is Im old school and use the 3 color a v cabal. Extreamly long wait times on avgerage in the sell and loan lines. About 35 min wait. Very under staffed takes 15 minutes to get a sales rep. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Poor management and horrible return policy. Some broken game boy games and got a new Nintendo 3ds lx with a non working screen charging 180 for it when a working models are sold for 120. Over all unhappy every time Im there. Good selection of products. To much shelf fillers like audio and dvds

I bought a LG sound bar (great price) got home and looked it up via LG website only to discover that it did come with a sub and remote. Well I had no clue about soundbars so I called Pawn America and Sergio answered. I explained what I had bought and by chance was there a remote and sub, Serg took my name and phone# and said he would call me back in about a hour. Serg called me back in that time frame I was told yes indeed it came with a remote and sub. I went back today to pick up the rest of my puchase (my fault, I had no clue that a remote and sub also came with it) Serg came around the corner with a big smile and a great hello and shook my hand. Serg also made sure it was the correct remote and sub by testing it....Thanks Surgio you made my day....patrick
