I was at Michaels to purchase a large drawing pad, when I went to check out there were 3 clerks at registers... 1 was on the phone, 1 was counting and recounting sheets of paper and the last left and was gone for the rest of my standing in line. There were 15 more customers in line in front of me and for 5 minutes we stood and watched the clerks do whatever it was they were doing (which wasnt checking people out). I finally gave up as it didnt seem like I would be able to get out of the store within the next 30 minutes and none of the people who were at the checkouts had made it through. I emailed the home office and received a phone call where the person said "well we are sorry... is there anything else we can do for you?" Thats it. No, "we will send you a coupon" or anything. Anyway it all worked out because I went to Joanns and found the same drawing pad for $5 cheaper (half the price of Michaels). I wont be making the same mistake again.

Terrible store policies. I tried to use a 50% off any item coupon (with certain restrictions like it cant be used on custom framing). The item I wanted to purchase was a picture frame, ready made. Since the item was already on sale (but not 50% off), I could not use the coupon, even off the regular price. I understand not being able to combine with the sale price, but I asked to charge me regular price then take off the coupon. I was told "we cant do that". Since I already stood in line for 10 minutes to pay, I didnt feel like holding up the line of people behind me for an explanation from management, so I left without purchasing the item. I wonder if that is store policy or if the cashier was too stupid or lazy. Shop somewhere with better policies.

Trying to get help in this store is next to impossible. A few times, I got lucky and ran into a floor person who directed me to the item I was looking for. Most often, however, there is no help available and trying to find an item in a store with so much inventory is a challenge. A store directory or a person who could direct you to the area of interest would be helpful. Frankly, the only store that is worse is JoAnns fabrics.

This place has the worst return policy. They said they needed my drivers license in order to get do a return. When I got it out of my car they wanted to enter my number. I refused as there is no need for anyone other then DOT to have that information in their computer. They didnt need my drivers license when I paid cash for the product. I left the store mad and wont return. All this for $5.26!

This Michaels location is clean, organized and fully stocked with anything one could expect or hope to find at Michaels. The employees are my only complaint. Sometimes they are not nice and seem to rudely try to get out of helping you or ringing you up.

The place I go and spend more than I should because it is addicting. But on the plus side I am now painting and doing crafts with my grandkids. Be warned it is a wonderful place to be trapped in for hours.

Stopped by to pick up a card that I had framed. It looked great and I was waited on quickly. The framer that originally worked with me was very helpful in helping me find colors I was looking for.

Staff are extremely friendly and actually walk you to where the item is that you need and will tell you about how to open up coupons on your cell phone or ask you if you have coupons very friendly
