I was very impressed with the sales associates. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The store has everything. I had been to two knit shops to buy rubber ends for double point knitting needles, and neither stocked them. Michaels had them in a selection of sizes, and the sales associate took me right to them and helped me find the ones I needed. I also bought LED holiday lights and discovered they were on sale when the associate at the register rang them up. When I asked her to verify the price she brought out the newspaper ad which she had at the register and showed me.

Walking into the Des Peres Michaels deludes me into believing I have stepped foot into heaven. The store is always stocked with whatever I need, and the staff are extremely well educated in their products. I do wonder sometimes if the managers mandate their sales associates and cashiers work out, theyre all in incredible shape. Their scrapbook section contains paper of every color, so theyre not racist. Life can be glum and uneventful, but this staff has proven to me there is more to life.

It has so many great items for crafts to do durring birthday parties. All sizes of canvas for painting and all the supplies youd need. Hundreds of picture frames all sizes and shapes. Not to mention the largest bead selection Ive ever seen. And if your into scrap booking they have 4 whole isles dedicated just to that!! So if it decorating or your board looking for something to do this store has it all. Pulse gives you ideas for things you might not have been thought about making.

My girlfriend drags me here a few times a year to pick out stuff and supplies for party decorations. The staff is very friendly, but the products can be pricey and poorly constructed. Recommend finding coupons or something before visiting or you may leave with a few $100 less in your pockets and not a lot to show for it. Overall they typically have what we need and they are open on Sundays while Hobby Lobby is not.

I have visited this store several times at different days and times...each time I have had to wait a minimum of 20-25 minutes to checkout. Today I walked in the store and immediately walked out...there were 15 people in line, each with full(ish) carts and only one checkout person (who was chatting with the customer after finishing the transaction). Not worth the effort to buy the few things I needed.

This store is bright and there is lots of room for carts. I really appreciated one of the managers Nancy who helped us. They go out of their way to help you find what you need and I love the 1 line for all the registers. I hate getting in the line at the grocery store that never moves, this way you can get helped even faster and it keeps everyone even. Check the new store out... love it!

If it were not for the brightly lit new store, I would have given them a one star. The staff is so so, they are not extremely helpful and the wait to checkout is crazy long for the most part. I have walked out many times just because it is not worth the wait to checkout.

This one seems smaller than the Brentwood store, only 1 level. They have a very modest section for seamtresses, but they have the essentials, like zippers and thread, but not many fabric options.
