I ordered an arrangement on Tuesday for a friend in the hospital that included a chicken balloon and mug to be delivered Thursday PM. On Wednesday at 4:30pm I received a voicemail indicating that the mug would be unavailable so they wanted to know if I would be okay with sending a vase instead. When I called at 10 AM on Thursday, the lady that answered the phone told me the arrangement had already been sent, even though I asked for it to be delivered in the afternoon, because they "needed to get the truck out". She told me they didnt have "any of that chicken stuff" and so they simply sent a vase of flowers, no balloon. They basically didnt do anything I asked for, and didnt offer me any sort of reimbursement. Will NEVER order from this company again.

The really good things about this experience were the websites ease of use and Romni. I ordered the Savannah Sunset from the Summer collection. I upgraded to the deluxe but received the standard. Called for an explanation and she refunded the difference to my card. I cant recommend the arrangement itself. Looks better online than in real life. For even the standard price it is way over priced for what you get and the way it looks. Clearly delivery is not "free". Its built in to the total cost. I think a better way to go is to go to a flower shop directly and pick things out. The pics online might be a tad touched up. I couldve built a nicer arrangement out of my backyard.

Absolutely awful, wanted a simple Happy Birthday message on the card, they screwed that up. Substituted other flowers, OK, get that, cant have everything in stock, but these flowers looked like they should have gone in the dumpster. Roses never opened up, lillies started dropping petals after 3 days, the whole arrangement had to go in the trash after only 5 days. When I requested a replacement arrangement under FTDs 7 day gaurantee they actually had the nerve to call my wife and ask for the vase back. Cant believe there are two positive reviews for this place. FTD did eventually make things right, but this florist did not.

Romni did the flowers for my wedding in September. I just told her the colors I liked, and that I wanted wildflowers that were in season. So by not having a specific idea of what I wanted the bouquets to look like, I put all my trust in her! Romni was easy to work with and responsive, as our plans changed a few times. I was so impressed! The bouquets were gorgeous, and she even threw in some aisle decorations for us! We got compliments all day about the flowers. Many of our guests took home bouquets from the reception, and still have them because they dried beautifully. I highly recommend Rose Cottage!

I happened upon this store by accident about 8 years ago when sending a Christmas center piece to my aunt. They did such a good job that I have been fiercely loyal ever since having placed about 50 orders with them since that time. They have great quality flowers and provide an unbelievable value often giving much larger bouquets than you would get at a larger store or chain. They also do special orders and once tracked down a bunch of lilacs for me which was no easy feat! I highly recommed this floral shop to people needing flowers and plants in the Madison area.

Ive bought flowers from Romni weekly for about 2 years and her customer service skills are second to none. The delivery person was incredibly rude when he called to arrange delivery. Then he hung up on me and informed my neighbors (whom Ive never met) that I wasnt home and left my flowers with them. Ill never order flowers from Rose Cottage and will instruct all family and friends who send me flowers to ensure that they do NOT come from this company.

Flowers delivered definitely did not look like the picture.. Pretty pathetic in terms of flower selection. I understand your never going to get exactly what you order online when it comes to flowers but if you have to be cheap on even the carnations, your in the wrong business. I wont be ordering from this location ever again.

Buy your flowers here. Seriously, its run by the most amazing woman and the quality is fantastic. Dont even think about going anywhere else if you want a straight up magical flower experience. I know it sounds like overkill, but Im not kidding. Take my word for it, my name is a flower after all. 11/10 would recommend. <3

Ive been getting red carnations for my daughters February 13th birthday there for how many years now, and this year Ill be sending my granddaughters second Valentine rose-spray to her, and a yellow rose for my (hopefully) Valentine. Received a delivery from here today. Very scant floral arrangement for very high price. Called to express my dissatisfaction and was offered no options but to keep an unwanted floral arrangement for an exceptionally high price. Definitely not ever going to use or recommend this business!

Ordered flowers and a bear. The bear was not delivered to the recipient. I called Rose Cottage and got some random call center somewhere. Could not reach the actual location. They said they would deliver the bear but never returned that day. Will not use this place again. Terrible service.

I went to The Rose Cottage to get a small bouquet of flowers for a co-worker. I dont have a stylish eye, so she put together the most beautiful combination for a great price! I love the feel of the small business and she is makes you feel so welcome.

The picture online was simple, elegant tulips in a vase and what was delivered to my wife for her birthday looked like something I wouldve picked out for my grandmothers funeral. Some carnations and some other things, but not a single tulip.

Id give no stars of that were possible. Terrible! I ordered the deluxe green plant and received the standard instead. Received only 1 email acknowledging the mistake but no refund. Will not use Rose Cottage again.
