To date the worst florist experience Ive ever had. STAY AWAY! Pre ordered flowers for delivery 10 days prior to date required. I order flowers often and when I do, I have two main things. 1. NO carnations, and 2. Be creative; do what you do. Standard procedure, call, give a dollar limit, and let the artist go to work. This specific time budget was $100. What showed up.. 11 stems of flowers (4 being white Lillys which were noticeably old. The flowers had been in bloom for so long, that the petals were almost all see-through (I know when to discard Lillys when their petals become see-through), and all had noticeable creasing and damage. 2 almost completely dead snap dragons, 2 gerbera daises which all petals were falling off, a stem of two peonies and hydrangea (only two flowers that looked fully alive, and something I would pay for). Super disappointing, especially for $100. You look on their website and the arrangements they have for $50 and under have more flowers than I received. Other than the 11 stems, vase was filled with ornamental grass, and lots and lots and lots of green foliage. When contacting A New Leaf about the issue, I simply asked why, and how could we resolve the issue. I had sent pictures of the destroyed Lillys, and she asked for a picture of the whole arrangement. Minutes later, without receiving an image of the entire arrangement (which I was more than willing to provide), this was Adeles reply: Dear Ashley - A picture will not be necessary. This order has been reviewed. Order was delivered after 12:00pm and before 3:00pm as requested. Order was also delivered for an event on 6/28/15 and accepted by Kayla Hajdasz. Order also did not include carnations as requested. Arrangment was used for the party on 6/28/15 and no refund will be issued. Thank you. Have a nice day. Please do NOT use this company, avoid it at all costs. I could have made 10 of the arrangements this company provided with the $100 that was spent. I try to use local businesses as much as I can, but please trust me when I say this company is a scam. Go elsewhere.

I ordered 23 red, 2 white roses along with babies breath and greenery to be arranged professionally in a vase, and delivered to my wife on our twenty fifth wedding anniversary. I will say this much for them they did deliver the product, but it was not arranged at all. They crammed the roses into a vase that was to small to handle the quantity of roses, so they all stood strait up. You couldnt see the greenery or babies breath because they were smashed underneath the roses that they crammed into the vase. I believe a 10 year old could have arranged the roses better then they did. I am absolutely disappointed in the product that they delivered, and even more disappointed in the management that did not care about my unhappiness. I called the store and spoke to the owner the day after the flowers were delivered, she said she was not working the day the order was delivered, so she said she would have to talk to the individual that filled the order, and she would get back to me. 24 hours elapsed without a call from the owner, so I called them again. The owner was not in so I left a message for her asking her to call me. It has now been 28 hours since I left a message, and I have not received a call from any representative of A New Leaf. I guess once you pay them $136.00 for flowers they dont want to talk to you about your unhappiness with the product they delivered. Perhaps A New Leaf should turn over "A New Leaf" and actually care about their clients...........Obviously I will never use them again, and I will let everyone I know, not to use them as well. A simple acknowledgement about my discontent and an apology would have gone a long way with me..........I received neither!

I have ordered from this flower shop for years. All my flowers have been beautiful, the service has been great, and the prices are unbeatable. I am a silk florist and recommend this shop for fresh flowers all the time. I was in the flower shop ordering flowers for a family member the week that ChgoSteves order was being filled. I saw the flowers first hand. They were blue and orange, not purple and gold as he is referring. I know this because when I saw them, I instantly thought of the Bears. I also saw the owner putting an arrangement together. When I asked about the color combo, she remarked that she had several arrangements for a funeral of a Bears fan. I thought it was a very neat way to honor a football fan. I am surprised to see his negative comments about this. I am even more surprised when I know that the other "beautiful arrangements" he refers to were made by the same shop with the same flowers. Again, I saw these flowers myself, and they werent anything like what this person is claiming. Sounds to me like someone wants a free-bee. Shame on you. I am going to contact the owner, alert her to this negative comment, and ask her to please post a photo of the flowers if she can. Other people can then make their own decision about the color and quality.

My husband of 25 years surprised me on our anniversary with 23 red roses and 2 white roses with babys breath and greenery. Sounds nice right? Well the arrangement arrived at my work and it was nice to receive roses but he spent a LOT of money and the roses were crammed into a vase so small that the roses were stacked on top of each other and looked horrible!!!!!! I love roses but not from A New Leaf Flowers and Gifts. They do not care about the presentation all they care about is getting paid. The roses didnt even last 4 days before they were all wilted and dead. My husband tried to contact the owner about his delivery and presentation, he was told she would call him back.As of 02-09-16 ( our anniversary is 01-26) he has not received a phone call or an apology! But the owner has posted that she spoke with him in depth about the delivery and that he was rude. By the way when you spend $150.00 on roses you expect some kind of nice look to the roses and not for them to die within 4 days. My advice for you is dont buy from A New Leaf!!!!!! I am going to post this on all the media sights that I can find!! Sincerely a very unhappy customer.

The tragic, wilted arrangement from A New Leaf was among the saddest things at the funeral. A real shame. It might have been a challenge for them from the start-- we asked for deep blue and orange (Bears colors, since our departed friend was a Bears fan). Turns out that several other loved ones had the same idea, and their blue and orange arrangements were beautiful. Ours appeared to have been run through a dishwasher before it was delivered. Off-purple and gold, and completely droopy. More an analogy to the Vikes than a tribute to a Bears fan. The handful of friends that helped pay for that arrangement were equally as disappointed as I was, and, so, on our behalf, I will contact the funeral home and ask why this particular florist is listed on their Resource page. Truly disappointing, unprofessional work.
