Went to the learning shop in Brookfield, Wi to return an item for my husband since the hours at the shop are so inconvenient for a teacher that also coaches and that ended up being such a frustrating trip!!!!!!! The woman clearly had no idea what she was doing! I went in and said I was returning something. She hesitated then asked if I was doing an exchange. I repeated that I was returning the item. She started the process by scanning the items then asked me for my last name. I spelled it for her. Then she asked for my first name. I asked if she wanted mine or or my husbands since he bought it. She said his. I told her, then she got confused and said she cant do a return for me since its under his name and I dont have his card. I got upset about the wasted trip and the fact that he cant make it there because of their hours so she asked the manager in the back. I couldnt make out fully what the manager said, but I did hear her say that she could issue a store credit. So she came back and told me she couldnt do anything without his card again!!! So I loudly said that I just heard the manager say she could do a store credit (which Im ok with since we spend enough money there anyway). She finally agreed to do that. In the meantime, my baby was with me and cranky so the long process did not help him and only made the trip even more frustrating.

You can easily spend hours looking at all of the fun stuff they have. So many educational toys and games - its fabulous!

The employees are helpful and friendly. I left with just the right gift which was beautifully wrapped for free.
