The pharmacy customer service is terrible. There is always a long line at the drive-thru pharmacy as well as inside the store at pharmacy check out. The pharmacy has screwed up several of my prescriptions as well as my childrens. One time, it was a crucial medicine that I needed at night. I submitted for a refill. A girl called to tell me that it wasnt covered by my insurance, which I already knew, and asked her to fill it anyways. My husband went to pick it up, and they said there wasnt any record of it! As a result, I had to go one evening without a very important med. And this isnt the first time they have screwed it up. There have been other times where I was called saying a medicine was ready for pick-up, but when I went to the drive-thru (after waiting 30 minutes in line), the guy at the window said it wasnt ready and asked me to pull around and get in line again. I then went in the store and waited another 15 minutes in line to be told it still wasnt ready. They definitely need more staff. My family has now switched to another pharmacy!

My wife is on several meds because of arthritis, fibromyalga, and copd, so I am a regular at the Inwood CVS. Amy, Danelle, Tom and all of the pharmacy staff know me now and always go out of their way to help me any way they can. Yes they do get busy, and we all think our problem is the worst, but to get upset because of a wait or a delay from an insurance company or a doctor that doest respond quick enough to requests from the pharmacy only frustrates them and the customer. I have dealt with walgreens, walmart, and riteaid. In my humble opinion Inwood CVS is head and shoulders above them. They are doing their best. Patience is a virtue. Try it you might be surprised. Keep up the great work CVS pharmacy staff I am a customer for life. Danelle, at the pharmacy, good luck with your move and new job. I for one will miss you.

The store as a whole is fine. The front of the store has friendly, helpful staff. The pharmacy however is the worst!!! They are consistently SLOW and RUDE!! There is one lady who works in the pharmacy that is helpful and polite but shes the only one who has any manners. The past few times Ive went inside to pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacy staff was gossiping and complaining about the bad reviews theyve been receiving while ignoring me for 5 minutes at the counter just to get a, "Someone will be with you in a minute." Sure, go ahead and huddle and talk... I have absolutely nothing to do!! If you want a prescription filled on time, you better tell them youre gonna pick it up 3 hours before you can "really " pick it up. If not, youll wait for an hour or two before its ready!!

The store itself is fine, but something has to give with the pharmacy. The drive-thru is always long and inside is always a long wait. Yesterday I spent 30 minutes in the drive-thru for them to tell me my Rx was still not ready 1 1/2 hours after sent to them. Tonight I spent another 30 minutes waiting on the inside. It always seems like there is not enough staff to cover the drivethru and the inside area. The heavier set man that works there has great customer service, however the one girl there could have helped him a lot more. He asked her 3 times to help him as she walked through the isles of the meds just putting stuff on the shelf. Really hope they staff up especially in the evenings or find a way to speed up the lines soon or I will be switching to another pharmacy

Never have my meds ready when they say they will. My doctor will call or fax in my refill. I call and they say they dont have it. I call my doctor and explain the situation. She said she will call it in. Before I get off the phone with my doctor. I get a text saying my meds are ready. How many people has this happened to?

Pricey. Pharmacy is in the back corner of the large store. This makes people who are not in good health have to walk all the way back. Waits at the counter are long. They answer phones and talk instead of putting them on hold. Also a lot of chatting between pharmacy employees.
