My husband, 3 kids and I lived there for 2 years. When we first moved in, the park was not that bad. Within the 2 years we lived there, we have watched it go way downhill. The septic is almost always backed up because the pipes need to be replaced. The bathroom building has a tarp over it because the owner is to cheap to fix the leaky roof. Last winter during a wind storm, a branch fell through the mens side of the roof so they just retarped the roof. Since the owner, Jerry Reeves wants the park full, there have been a lot of druggies that have been allowed to move in. It almost seems like they are taking over the place. NO PERMITS REQUIRED to splice into septic where there is none at, or for people to put in make shift french drains. Last spring part of the bank fell in down by the path to the river. They are now letting people stay down there where it fell in at. The bank will most likely keep falling in because of the weight of vehicles and trailers being on it. If you walk down there, you can actually see where the ground about 3 or 4 feet away from where it fell in at is cracked. The water lines also need to be replaced because they are old and keep breaking. The electrical is way outdated and there are a lot of power outages because of lines blowing or transformers blowing. the owner is to cheap to have it all updated like it needs to be. There are people that drink from sun up to sun down that cause drama and problems in the park, but are allowed to stay. If you dont pay rent, that is OK too because you can just make up a sob story and be allowed to work off your rent working in the park. The teenagers in the park can do NO wrong. They broke into the vending machines at the golf course not once, but twice and never got into trouble because the manager at the park intervened and did not want them in trouble. Their punishment was to work in the park doing pretty much nothing because no one kept an eye on them. They said they did the work and really didnt. So, if you are NOT a drunk, drug addict, drug dealer, or problem causer, I would advise looking else where for a trailer park.

WE HAVE STAYED AT LEWIS RV PARK IN THE PAST MANY TIMES IN THE LAST FEW YEARS,AND WOW I CANT BELIEVE HOW SUCH A REALLY NICE SETTING HAS GONE TO THE DOGS.THIS PLACE WAS WHERE WE DID MEET SOME REALLY NICE FOLKS, HAPPY CAMPERS YOU MIGHT SAY. SOME OF THE PEOPLE THERE ARE VERY NICE, BUT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE THAT LIVE THERE THAT SCARED THE HELL OUT OF MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. WE HAVE SEEN SOME IMPROVEMENT IN THE PAST FEW YEARS WITH THE NEW MANAGEMENT, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE IN THE CONVENIENT STORE MOSTLY. THE GROUNDS HAVE IMPROVED SOME, BUT CANT FIGURE OUT WHY FOR AN OWNER OF THE PARK OWNS A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND CANT REPAIR A ROOF ON HIS SHOWER ROOM AND TO PROVIDE A CLEAN SHOWER FACILITY FOR HIS CUSTOMERS. IT REALLY APPEARS TO US THAT WE ARE ONLY WANTED THERE FOR THE MONEY AND NOT CARING ABOUT OUR RELAXING. WE AS A FAMILY REALLY ENJOY OUR OUTINGS TOGETHER. LEWIS RIVER RV PARK WILL NEVER SEE US AGAIN. AS A MEMBER OF GOOD SAM CLUB A LOT OF OUR FRIENDS WILL KNOW HOW WE FEEL. SORRY TO SEE A PLACE LIKE THAT SUCKS SO BAD.

DEAR OWNERS, RECENTLY ONE OF THE OTHER GUEST RESIDENTS BY THE FIRST NAME OF CHRIS (SITE B-1) WAS HAVING A BIRTHDAY BBQ BEHIND OUR SITE C-7. I WENT OUT TO ASK IF THEY COULD KEEP THEIR MUSIC DOWN AS WE HAVE AN INFANT THAT WAS SLEEPING AND WE HAVE TO GET UP VERY EARY, 3:30AM, TO GO TO WORK A 12+ HOUR DAY. THEY BASICALLY TOLD US TOO BAD THEY ARE GOING TO DO WHAT THEY WANT. THE MORE ALCOHOL THEY DRANK THE LOUDER IT GOT AND ENDED UP WAKING OUR DAUGHTER UP. I WENT OUT TO VIDEO RECORD SOME OF THIS (WHICH I STILL HAVE) AND WAS THREATENED BY CHRIS SAYING HE WAS GOING TO "COME UP HERE AND SMASH ME". I ALSO HAVE HEARD FROM SEVERAL PEOPLE CHRIS HAS OUTSTANDING WARRENTS AND IS WANTED AND IS HIDING OUT. WE HAVE COMPLAINED AND WAS TOLD HE WOULD BE TOLD TO STAY AWAY FROM OUR SITE YET HE STILL WALKS BY GIVING DIRTY LOOKS AND HANGS OUT AT THIS END OF THE PARK GETTING DRUNK ALMOST DAILY. PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU SO MUCH

My boyfriend and I just moved into the area and needed a place to call home. We were referred to this rv park and we couldnt be happier. At first the manager only had a spot available for 2 weeks, but when we arrived said that the spot was open for monthly rent. The people around here are great, very friendly and welcoming. From hearing about how the park used to be it has made a complete 180 with this new management. Maiya is great and she got rid of all the bad that was once in the park. The rv park is right on the river and has a conscience store with non ethanol Gas. If you are coming through looking for a place to stay i definitely recommend lewis river rv park.

The RV park is full of hard drugs and drunks, the Maitance guy does not keep the park up, if you owe rent you can work in the park, the internet sucks, everyone in there is 2 faced and back stabbers, the teenagers can do no wrong, they broke into the golf course and got a slap on the wrist, nothing but drama there. The wiring is out dated, the water is nasty, they do up grades without permits, the park needs to be shut down. If you dont do drugs or drink campers stay away.

This camp ground has both, short term & long term spaces. As a single woman sometimes i do worry about my safety, not here i feel totally safe. Lewis River Campground Is a family style campground, it has showers, internet, the store which has everything you would need for life on the river. There is a boat launch nearby, golf course, moto cross, historical buildings, its close to Woodland, and the gateway to Mt. Saint Helens. I stay here every time Im in town.

This is not a bad place I have made alot of good friends here .My 0nly wish is that if people think this is such a bad place ect.. Then they need to find different means of living.Wish things would go back to the way things were last summer were everbody got along wishful thinking. Come and enjoy the people well most of them.

After a very long road the current manager has improved the park with good residents that take pride and care of the park. No more drugs, no more drama. So come by and stay a weekend if you can get a spot.
