I went there to get some dog food and a man with a kitten was walking out of the adoption area. He was hitting yhe little kitten and yelling at it. None of the staff would do anything. Customers were coming up and asking him why he was being so mean to the cat. We got our stuff and left. Just as we pulled out onto the road there was the kitten left abandoned on the sidewalk by the building. Of course we stopped and picked up the poor little thing. We called Petco and told them about it and they didnt even seem interested. We asked them to look at their video footage and see if they could get a photo shot of the man to press charges for animal abuse but they wouldnt bother. Some place thats into the pet business but doesnt care at all about animals. We ended up getting food, a litter box and other supplies. After getting rid of god knows how many fleas the little kitten is doing better and well look for a good home for her or just keep her. What a crappy store, were never going back.

We came to this location to purchase an item that was shown to be carried and in stock. There was absolutely no one to assist. We finally found the area we needed. The item we came for was not in. Not just sold out - it appears it was never available. We chose a different item clearly labeled as $7.99. The shelf was labeled and had multiples of the item in that spot. We get to the cashier who says it rings up as $15.99. And she doesnt have time to look into it and did not offer us the shelf price. Ridiculous and low- class store. Will not be back.

I actually buy frozen krill at this store because its close, but I would never buy fish at here due to the fact that every time I come in it is like going to a fish morgue. I have been in multiple times when there were more dead gold fish in the feeder tank than live fish. There are always multiple tanks with dead or dying fish. You really need to get some one to manage your aquariums. Who ever is taking care of your tropical fish is doing a terrible job. I would also get a new supplier that doesnt give you diseased fish.

I like this place. I bring my service animal here often. He has been a bit of a challenge socially, large dog that is very protective, but, the staff here help as much as they can with that. At least, they understand about dogs like he is. I like the consistency, and we have always had a good time in this store. And, I can do minor social training and acclimation with him in thier store. He knows its where I buy him Pig Ears, an he loves them. Thanks Petco.

I love the grooming salon, I only trust Dani to groom my dogs. Stay away from Jason, NOT GOOD with big dogs. They need a better manager in the salon tho. When making my appt for my 2 dogs with Dani, he spoke badly of her, she has been doing my dogs for a long time and is wonderful. He had no idea who I was. Very unprofessional.

The employees are always very helpful to me, and in fact, seem to go out of there way to make sure you get any promotional prices or coupons that they can. And finding out that you price match your online prices and how easily your employees accommodate that just makes it all the better.

Dirtiest pet supply store in Hazel Dell. The public restrooms and the store floors are filthy. Its obviously months worth of grime in restrooms. There are dog flus going around and i would not call this store safe for that or any illness passed by feces, urine or proximity.

Do not buy your fish here, all of their fish tanks run off of one big filter. So if one fish has rot fin, they all have it, or if any are sick they all are. I would highly recommended The wet spot to get any of your fish or fish supplies.

This is a run of the mill Petco, which isnt too bad or too good for prices or selection. As a cat owner, I buy my litter here from the big litter pit inside as the price is the best and it is good quality litter.

Cute cats in the cattery. Please adopt! Dont shop! I adopted my 9 year old kitty named Buddy from a petco last February. Best decision I have ever made.
