I called this store after searching for a specific dog food, and the young girl, Erika, who answered the phone said without hesitation that they carried the dogfood I inquired about. I drove 30 minutes to this store, and when I got there, they did not even carry the brand of dog food I had inquired about. When I asked the girl if she was the one I spoke with on the phone, she said she was not. On my way out, I asked the other girl behind the counter if she was the one I spoke with not less than a half an hour ago on the phone, and she also denied it. I explained that one of them had spoken to me, and that it would have taken 2 seconds to check to see if the brand I called about was in their store, rather than having me drive all that way for no reason. She insisted I was confused and called another store, that neither of them spoke with me at all that day. I clearly explained that I was referred to the River Rd store by another Mini Pet Mart in search of the dog food, and they were the only store on River Rd. When she could not provide the number or address of the store she was in, I dialed the last number dialed on my phone, and of course, the store phone rang. She then said she was new and did not know what the other girl, Erika, had said. I called Erika up to the counter and explained that it was unacceptable and unprofessional to have been lied to repeatedly, on top of her wasting my time. She finally admitted she had spoke to me, claiming she was too busy to remember the phone call 30 minutes prior. The store was indeed, empty of customers. When I asked for the managers contact information, both girls were resistent to giving the information to me. The store employees and my experience here serves as a lesson to NEVER shop at this store again. Customer service and courteousness and professionalism is non-existent.

I shop at this store regularly and am extremely happy with the products and with the service I receive there. Staff are knowledgeable as well as helpful. Though there are sometimes new staff working at the store there is always someone there who can answer my questions and they offer an amazing selection of pet foods and supplies. I can even buy flea treatment at a much lower cost than I was paying at the vet. I dont know about the other stores in town but this one is a winner.

Nice staff.... Most of them are very knowledgeable about my Tegu and my bearded Dragon, when I get someone that doesnt know much about them they always tell me to hang on and get somebody that does know. Very friendly very professional!

Always a good selection of pet supplies and equipment + friendly staff who can recommend things and are realistic in the pricing of products unlike some of the bigger pet store around here
