I love this store! This was my second visit. The first time was for my flash drive. They couldnt handle it, but the guy responded my request of writing a note of this circumstance that helps to ask a time extension at my professor. The second time was when my pc did not work. It was old, so I gave up on fixing it. Instead, I bought their used pc. It was $90, but I got discount and became $75 cuz I didnt need something. The guy who served me took a piece from my broken pc and installed it to the new (used) pc to work faster. The new used pc function very well! No problem at all. I really respect geeks (they are really experts!!) cuz this pc has installed "LibreOffice Writer" that works almost identically to the Microsoft Office Word. My Microsoft Office Word was for one pc, I needed to research how I might be able to use it. The Libre Office Writer saved my college life! I recommend ppl to take tech staff there first instead of taking it to Best Buy.

I had a ten year old PC and was in the market for a new refurbished one. I first went to a competitor and was not satisfied with the organization and quality of their product. When I went to Green PC, I was quickly acknowledged and educated on each refurbished PC they had. I was also given a considerable discount on one of the better PCs they had available. The employee also had the forethought to present with additional equipment which would have been necessary for compatibility between my new and old equipment. I then went back to Green PC to retrieve a clip for an old HD I wanted to place into the newer PC. They got me the right one and they didnt charge. Unexpected but very grateful. It was the same employee who had helped me with the PC, tall guy. Overall, an organized store with a small to medium selection of good rebuilt PCs at competitive prices and very professional, knowledgable and likeable staff. Will return and reccomend.

My goto place for all PC hardware and old accessories. These guys are awesome! Always happy to help find anything you are looking for and very knowledgeable. I used to run my own computer repair and IT business and I appreciate shopping at a store that shares the same passion. The owner is a great guy. Has on multiple occasions made deals for me or have me free stuff. The younger guys are very helpful and are happy to answer any questions or discuss computers. The pricing is very fair. I have actually found items they sell for more money on eBay! I come here about once a week or at least a couple times a month. The selection and atmosphere is great. Also dont forget to check out the awesome retro computer "museum" when coming in the door. They also recycle any and all electronics! All in all Green PC is pure awesomeness! :D

I originally took my laptop in to see if they could fix it. Best buy had already told me it was dead and they could not even get it to open up. Green PC told me all the things that were wrong with my laptop which was only two years old and told me step by step after I had left it with them and they looked it over. They did this in a language I could understand and was kind an patient. They charged me nothing since they could not work on it. I wound up buying a refurbished dell and monitor from the store and I am still using it now. Its been going on 4 years almost and this computer is a 2007. Green PC was also able to get some of my pictures off my laptop that were irreplaceable and put it onto a flash drive I bought. I will go to them again and recommend this store to anyone interested.

A nice little spot with a surprisingly good selection. This place is a typical recycle joint...they take old computers, gut them, and refurbish the working parts to then build a functioning computer to sell to people. I didnt expect much walking in, but after looking around, they had a whole lot of good stuff. Tons of used parts and even a new i7 6700 processor, which was what I looking for that Frys and big chain stores were sold out of. I talked to the guy at the counter and he said they can order anything we need and get it quickly instead of dealing with big chain stores. I also needed a few screws for a case I was building, he tossed them In at no cost. If I need spare parts for a new build or fixing a PC, this is going to be my first stop.

I went in with a computer issue and not only did the employee fix my problem before the doors even opened it 9 a.m. but he did it and when he found out it wasnt a hard fix didnt even charge me anything for it. The dude could have put it in line charged an arm and a leg and I wouldnt have been any the wiser. Also started discussing gaming machines and he flat-out gave me advice that would have been detrimental to his company but save me some money by not buying anything at the time that kind of honesty with customers is hard to find in this day and age well definitely be doing all of my business with green PC.

I went to this place to buy some older RAM. The cost of the ram they were trying to sell to me was well over 200% the price I could find online. Needless to say, I took my business to the Internet and I purchased the RAM (2 sticks) for 19.99 (BRAND NEW) instead of paying 64.00(not including tax). I will always support a privately owned business but if they choose to rape people over products that are NOT worth it, you will lose business. I ensure the people who own this business that I will inform people to take their business ONLINE instead of going here.

Im the tech of the family and this place has saved me, my family, and my friends lots of cash that might have been spent on an inflated-price-cause-its-old part or a whole new computer. The place is a warehouse of old electronics, and theyll happily hunt down and test anything youre looking for, from a VCR, to an old amp, to all sorts of computer components. When its not worth shipping from Newegg, like a replacement fan or an older PCI card, you can usually find it here, and itll only cost a couple bucks, but tip them (make a donation) for their excellent work.

One of the best used PC Shops in Tacoma with quite a few new items as well. Location is convenient and the store is huge and clean. The prices on their items whether new or used is very reasonable and the service is exceptional when they arent busy. In the past Ive bought a Dell desktop for my church from here, a fantastic Gateway LCD monitor for my wife, an Apple Studio Display monitor, iMac G3, and assorted hard drives, memory, and PC build items. So far over the years Ive been visiting this shop nothing has failed on me.

I am a computer engineer who some times like to build my own extremely custom systems and went to GreenPC and found a Dell PowerEdge 4300 server case that was perfect for a beowulf cluster project I was working on. The case had more than adequate cooling and space in it for me to put 2 quad processor motherboards in and keep things neat. I paid hardly anything for the case and so saved me alot of hassle and thousands of dollars to go source one out from a OEM. Thanks guys, you do great work.
