It was chance that I found Chris while I was walking down the road with my sister. I recently purchased a laptop and wanted the rundown to make sure it was going to last me a good while and I just so happened to walk by his office while he was walking out to his car. We chatted a bit and I got his card so that I could bring the laptop by. I never did bring the laptop over but a while later i decided I wanted to build a gaming desktop for myself. After getting horrible service from another Portland computer company I remembered the card I gotten from him a few months back. I made the call and he answered a ton of questions I had and then offered to get me in that day if I wanted. Me being the do it yourself type I am decided to give it my best shot. Once that failed I scheduled an appointment for the next morning. I showed up and we started chatting, Drank some delicious coffee and put together the final parts of my gaming computer. The service here was absolutely astounding. It was more like visiting an old friend than going to a random store. Every question I had was answered and every request was met with no issues whatsoever. The price was right in my range. Although I would not be upset to pay twice as much for the service I recieved. I felt like I could build it myself the way he explained it for me. If you have any issues computer wise that need fixing do not make the mistake and go somewhere else and regret it like I did. Do it right the first time. I absolutely guarantee you will not regret it.

Was looking for a PC Tower to fit my linux home server needs and found exactly what I was looking for. What I really enjoyed was not being sold extra! I told Chris I wanted a Core 2 Duo 2.3 to 3 GHz with 4 Gigs of ram. He told me what he had in stock and the prices. Opend a few units for me to inspect the insides with out issue. Id send my dad, a computer novice, there knowing that he could state his needs for a computer, Web, Email, Netflix, and not be sold a $1,000 gaming rig. Price is fair too! Of course your going to pay $10 to $20 more than ebay but you get: - Comfort of seeing the device(s) working - Return it in a few days without shipping if its not what you need - Help finding what fits your needs without pressure to buy extra - In store stock you can browse through - Suports local Oregon businesses

First computer build and it doesnt turn on. Spent hours trying to figure it out and then gave up. Called Metro and spoke with Chris but he wouldnt have anyone available until Tuesday (this is Friday). He asked for more info about what I had tried so far and advised it was likely a motherboard issue. I was able to go out and replace it and have the computer running in just a couple of hours. Really appreciate it!

Best computer repair experience of my life? I took my aging PC to a repair shop closer to my home and was told I likely needed a +/-$1000 rebuild. I went to Metro PC Works for a second opinion, and Chris went FAR out of his way to help out with a cascade of ultimately rather minor issues.
