Im pretty sure this is the smallest JC Penney South of Seattle and North of Portland. Thats not necessarily a bad thing! Yes, the ones at Tacoma Mall and Southcenter have more selection, for sure. But this one has a constant, reliable, friendly staff that is most always available and happy to give a level of service usually only available at smaller, private clothiers. I havent had a BAD experience at the JCP at Tacoma mall, but not had the personal service there either. The staff at the shoe department in Auburn/South Center was actually pretty rude and only helped at the absolute minimum when I bought a pair of shoes there a few weeks ago. So, seriously if you dont mind a little more limited selection this JCP is definitely worth going out of your way to visit!

They dont have many choices for regular sized guys, its all kind of aimed towards skater/teen type stuff or workout. Studio--- bad bad bad. Been here twice now years apart and had hoped for a better experience. Didnt work with us at all on anything. Didnt want to let our kid warm up to smiling, just said oh kids are like this at this age and snapped one shot and moved on. Told us we could only have 2 backrounds to choose from once we got there ready to go when on the phone was told to go online and pick out what we liked ahead of time. Just overall kind of bummed and dont think I will be going there again. Maybe if they got more photo rooms or didnt overbook they would be happier and more helpful, taking pictures is an art form not a rushed event.

I like the dress selection as JCP, and the fashions on the mannequins. However, the reason it is a four star and not a five is because the selection is not large enough currently. I find I shop for men in my life there more than women because they have great mens and teenage boy selections over womens selections. JCP is first and foremost a family store, and caters to the working father, the possibly working and stay at home mother, teenagers that are family friendly, prom stuff, and children/kids. I like that about it when shopping for others, just not for myself.

We were in Olympia for our anniversary, and called this studio, on a whim, to see if they could fit us in for pictures to capture the memory. The woman we worked with was extremely capable and kind, and we finished in 15 minutes with more fantastic pictures than we could possibly choose! She did such an excellent job, and the prices were wonderful. We would reccommend them to anyone!

Eye glass. Went into the eye glass department wanted to have the nose pads replaced and sales associate did replace them and proceded to fix the arms and broke the arm off. She told me they could not fix it and told me where to have it saudered. Now I am without glasses. Grrrr....

Closest Pennys to aberdeen since closing the store in South Shore mall. Average store, has a sephora. The sephora is always very messy. The only helpful staff is the people in shoes.

We had great service and prices in the jewelry department and optical shop. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to take advantage of some great sales.
