This is the worst experience I have ever had buying an appliance. First of all we paid cash in the store for a refrigerator and then paid extra to have it delivered.(which by the way I found out I could of ordered on line with free delivery and 25 bucks back to have the old one hauled away) through our power company. So we set it up To be delivered and they called the night before and set up a window of delivery for 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Well they showed up at my house at 9:15 am and of course we were not ready. They go outside have my appliance down off the truck on the lift un boxed in the rain and then without even asking which way it was coming in the house proceeded to open my front door while I was trying to rush getting the old fridge emptied and was starting to take off my front door. I told them to stop that was not the door it was going to come through and of course by now Im really frustrated. I asked them to go talk to my husband the next thing I knew they had left and took my fridge with them. So I called the Corp office and arranged for them to come back same day after they said it would not be til Monday. The guy assured me they would be back. So we waited until 12:20 pm and called to let them know they had not returned only to be told they could not come back today. So my food is in coolers my old fridge is on the back porch and no new fridge. Next I called the store. Let me call and find out and I will call you back they say. No call back. Called again spoke to (Mark) who sold us the unit the week before. I even offered the first time to go pick it up at the distribution center. Oh no its closed. It closed at noon. Mark said he would call get a delivery time for Monday. Well he still has not called back. Oh he just called now we have to schedule it again to be delivered. Probably not Monday he says. So Tuesday dont know when Tuesday til the night before. OMG. To top it all off went to the store to get our money back and was told we would have to wait 7-10 days to receive a check in the mail. Paid cash!!! Im beyond livid

Please DO NOT buy appliances from Sears. Its not worth it. We bought higher-end Kenmore Elite Kitchen appliances. Totaling around $6000 for refrigerator, range, above stove microwave, and a fancy "quiet" dishwasher. We paid for installation of the gas range. The delivery guys were 2 hours late! They arrived at 7 pm at night to deliver the appliances. No phone call, nothing. When they got here, they said they couldnt hook up the gas range because they other one wasnt unhooked. I informed them that was included in the installation cost and they argued with me. I called Sears after they left and was assured, that unhooking the old range was included in the installation and they could have somebody out in 2 WEEKS to hook up the new stove. TL;DR my husband had to end up installing the range. Fast forward 6 months, the ball bearings on the dishwasher completely fall out. They are housed in PLASTIC. Tried to get Sears to come out, used vacation days to wait for them, only for them to cancel. They finally come out when it is out of warranty because by now, the entire top rack housing as busted. Nothing is holding it in any more. $450 fix for the top rack of a $1000 dishwasher. EXCUSE ME? I expect to replace a hose or something but the basic assembly of a dishwasher???? NOPE. Then as the guy was leaving, he ran into my sons basketball hoop on the street. Claims hes not used to hoops being at the end of the driveway...but you are used to driving and reversing your work van, right? Thank God my children were in school and werent out playing basketball! Nothing about my experience with Sears has been worthwhile. Heed my advice: go elsewhere, even if it means paying more.

I wish I could do negative stars. I bought my fridge (Kenmore elite) 9 months ago and the motor just went out. I would expect when you spend over $2,000 it would last longer than 9 months. Then to top it off when I called sears to have someone come look at it, they hung up on me 2 times then after the 4th call, I was routed 6 times until finally I got someone to help me. What makes it even better is I cant get someone out to help fix this piece of crap for two weeks, meanwhile all our food we just bought is going bad. The only help I was offered is for me to go in and purchase a small fridge for the meantime at my own expense. Since then I have called 11 times to sears with no answer. I have called 4 more times directly to the manager and was yet again ignored. it seems you have to go in directly to the store to get help and I am thinking with my anger I am better off not doing so for the time being. This for sure will be the last time that I ever shop for anything at sears and will makes sure to tell my family, extended family, and all our friends about this experience. I should have taken the advice from others to just have bought from lowes, at least I know their customer service is better than this. This post will go on all forums possible including my facebook page. I hope others can at least learn from this and save their money and headaches.

I purchased two storage sheds on April 14th for pick up on April 28th. May 28th I called to see if they had arrived and they could not find them. They had no record of them being ordered. After 30 minutes on the phone and giving them the Salescheck number, they said that they would be reordered and that I could pick them up the following week. May 4th I called to see if they had arrived and I spent half an hour trying to find the order and they did not arrive. I was told that they should arrive on the next delivery which was on May 5th. May 14th and they still do not have them and they want me to cancel the order and then re-order the two storage units. I asked to talk to the store manager Bob and was placed on hold for ten minutes but he did not answer the phone. I called customer service and they passed on this issue to Brett. I was told that he would call me. I still do not have the two storage units that I ordered and I have no idea when it will be available for pickup. I will never order anything from Sear again.

NEVER answers phone or returns calls.... 4.5 out of 5 times I cant get ANYONE to help me even though there are usually 3 or 4 people standing in a little circle just talking about how little money they make working there but dont understand why.... Ummmm how about because you never ask to help customers??? Use to love Sears and have spent tens of thousands of dollars there over the years so I keep going back hoping someone decent works there again and will help but this year alone I have gone there, waited for help (even tried getting a manager or someone but NEVER do they call back or are available), walked around asking for help and finally walked away a total of about 6+ times and went elsewear and purchased over $8k in products ..... That THEY now lost all because they couldnt even say "HI"! Get it together Sears!!!!
