It all started with a google search for custom wedding dress Seattle that lead me to a blog post on Style Me Pretty featuring a gorgeous wedding dress created by Bella Jean Boutique. This was the start of such a positive and memorable experience for me that I cannot possibly recommend Bella Jean Boutique enough. Victoria and Veronica are not only superbly skillful seamstresses, but also have an absolutely amazing ability to help you envision your dress design and then make it come to life. With their expertise, my wedding dress developed into something more beautiful than I could imagine. Victoria and Veronica are very invested in their clients and this shines through in the quality of their work. They went beyond expectations by meeting me in Portland to help pick out my fabric. They provided me with genuine and honest opinions and advice and changes to my dress were always easy to make. With Victorias great sense of style, I was able to decide on a veil, makeup and hair that fit perfectly with my dress and overall wedding theme. So thank you, Bella Jean Boutique, for making me feel and look stunning!

I had my wedding dress altered at Bella Jean and it was a really positive experience. I had purchased an antique wedding dress but the waist was a little too narrow for me and so I brought it to Bella Jean and they let out the waist and it turned out really beautifully, you cant even tell that it was altered. The whole process took about 1 month but Im guessing if I needed it done sooner it could have been. I came in three times, wants to drop it off and get measured once in the middle of the process to make sure that the changes they were making were accurate and then wants to pick it up. They were great about working with my schedule and the service is reasonably priced. I was impressed by their skill and was happy to see them teaching younger girls how to sew as well. This is a great place to support with your business!

They did a great job with my dress, but I felt like they dont care what happens to it after you pay. They put it in a bag just before I left, but left the bottom exposed. As I was leaving, my hands were full with my large boot box and purse. It was hard to open the door by myself, I stepped on my dress, then fumbled out the door. They didnt even blink an eye. The gal that helped me is still training and is nice as can be but the other gals should be stepping in when needed when it comes to customer service.

The talented young women have created several of my granddaughters favorite outfits, including her Little Red Riding Hood costume - all exceptionally well made & well priced as well. We LOVE these two young women - I have two girls who have taken sewing classes with Veronica and Victoria for the past year - they love it, they keep on learning and growing in their sewing abilities, and they keep on asking for more. The price is affordable, the skills invaluable and lifelong, and they do alterations and special orders, too, which comes in handy when you least expect it. If you want quality, dedication, experience and versatility, this is the place for you.
