Great service and selection. We took a day off to go around all the Kirkland stores and ended up in Lynwood to find more stores. We arent quite ready to invest in furniture that lasts a life time, so Dania was nice but above our budget, but the cost effective items like IKEA and Furniture World we too far at the opposite end for us, we wanted something in-between. Underhills was perfect for us, its wood furniture with veneers, nicer and more solid than MDF(fiber/particle board) furniture but not as expensive as solid wood. As others have pointed out, its not going to last as well as full solid wood, but itll do as well as/better than MDF furniture and is more solid for moving (only matters if you intend to move much in the next 5 years of course!) which matters to us as we will move again. We got great service, well looked after in figuring out the right bed, tall dresser, media chest and night stands for our bedroom. It was about $3000 for all plus delivery and assembly (pretty typical charges we found). The delivery was quick and the buyer and her husband even stepped in to get our items quickly as some of the delivery team were off sick, they delivered right when they said they would. Very pleased with the items now they are in place. Our storage bed is yet to come so I will update review once that has been delivered and assembled.

I must second the other review who pointed out that this company has an "F" BBB rating (Go to the BBB site yourself). We spent about $5000 there and I was disappointed with the quality. The first thing to note is that the wood is of very soft and of low quality. The finishes are paper thin. The cushions easily compress. The drill work is inaccurate so that the holes for assembly dont always line up correctly. The holes for the bookshelf supports are misaligned so that a couple of the shelves teeters. The prices are good, but trust me...you get less than what you pay for. Youre better off looking for some good quality used furniture. Youll save money and be happier.

We bought a dinning room table set with buffet (about $3500.00) - looked very good in the store but after about 2 years, the finish is coming off almost every chair, spots on the table. At the same time we bought a bed and dresser for our son. The drawers under the bed are not worthy of usage from a typical child - they are all broken, and the dresser arrived with a different finish on it which does does match the bed. This was already the second replacement as the first arrived damaged. We gave up. Would not recommend this store. The furniture is made to look good, command a high price and it does not deliver.

We were very happy with the customer service we received. Weve been looking for the perfect sofa and love seat set for our new home and we found it here. They have a lot of fabrics to choose from for customizing the set since Ive been looking for black and they are impossible to find. We even went to Jrs down the street and they had the exact same set but not as many fabric and color options and it was about $300 more. Needless to say, I am very satisfied and excited about my new furniture.

My boyfriend and I (were in our mid-twenties) were looking for a loveseat for his apartment and we managed to walk through the whole store, twice, without a single sales person asking if they could help us! One walked right by us to go help another couple!! We made eye contact with a couple sales people and they all just avoided us. Thanks Underhill - well be buying our furniture from Annas around the corner!

We experienced great customer service and love our furniture. Monica helped us and she was very knowledgeable and not pushy like Ashley furniture. There are several brands there and we bought tradewinds which is of high quality. The sales staff was very helpful and took measurements over the phone and added a nightstand to our delivery after our purchase. Great experience we will be going back!

If I could do zero stars I would. It says "huge sale" , "60% off" but the cheapest thing there was a $600 ottoman. The couches were all over a thousand dollars. They are the epitome of FALSE ADVERTISING! If money is tight go to Modern Used Furniture instead.

For the semi drivers, if youre coming from a I-5 go up to 40th and take a left, then back into the parking lot behind the store. You will have to Blindside it and jackknife it to the dock. Good luck. The people seem to be very nice.
