I stopped in this weekend to buy an apple tree for my backyard. I wasnt quite sure what I wanted, but I have somewhat limited space and needed a tree that wouldnt get too big. The staff was both very nice and super helpful. The gentleman that helped me clearly knew what he was talking about, and gave me great advice and helped me to pick out a good tree. They also helped me get the tree into my somewhat small car. Even though I was only buying one item, they made me feel like I was the most important customer at the nursery. I really appreciate both how knowledgeable they were and also the great service. Its getting harder and harder to find these days. This was my first visit to the nursery and I was also impressed by how good the selection was, even this late in the year. The way things are set up, you can stroll around the grounds and easily browse what they have on hand. Im putting in a new flower bed in the spring, and Ill definitely go back to buy plants for it.

Theyre the best! Darren is very friendly and very helpful. I have zero knowledge of all things plants and told him so up front. He was superb at making me feel comfortable and walk around with me to help me pick out a beautiful palm, grasses and shrubs that will do well throughout washington winters. I mean, I was being picky as to colors, sizes etc. and he was happy to help and give his ideas. I had forgotten my credit card and he said, No problem - call me with the number tomorrow morning. He was even willing to hold all the plants until my lawn care guy offered to pick them up for me almost a week later. Very accommodating! I also thought the prices were reasonable - Ive spent as much per plant at Home Depot. Even if it is a little more, its so worth it to have the expertise you need if you dont have a green thumb. Go see Darren!

This is a good nursery to go to if you know what you want. The prices are lower than others in the area, but staff assistance is sparce. We were able to locate a staff member and ask questions, but they were unable to answer any if them, and had to go online to find the answers. Keep in mind, these were basic questions like: When does this flowering bush tend to bloom? Would shade ve better then full sun for this plant? Or are these grapes sweet or more for decoration/wine? We were told they were horrible tasting, so we did not but. When we got home and read about them, they are supposed to be excellent eating grapes. ???? So, do your research before you go, and youll do fine.

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Selection is moderate, make sure to go early spring if you want fruit or veggie starters. Nursery stands by their plants, and bent over backwards when we had a rose bush we didnt think was going to make it - offered us a replacement on the spot and let us keep the first one. Turns out we were able to save the first one with some TLC, and we tried to go back and pay for the second one, because we felt bad about the trouble, but the owner insisted we keep it and offered us another plant for letting them know.

I have been to many different nursery. However, these guys are the best around. I bought at least 200 plants from them and they are all doing great. Darren and his team are very friendly and helped me with any questions I had. I recently made a raised bed garden for my 35 blueberries plants, which I bought from there, and these guys carry a specific acid loving soil which help these plants thrive. Theres no other nurseries in the area that sell soil for acid loving plants. These guys are awesome!!!!! You wont be disappointed :)

This year is hard with all this rain. One day I decided to stop in to get some ideas on my yard. Not only did they recommend plants, theyre very knowledgeable about other ideas of other plants to use, soil needed, ect. WAIT TIL YOU SEE THE HANGING BASKETS IN THE SPRING. BIG BIG BIG BABY! When I left it was still raining but I was happy on the inside. THANKS so much guys you helped me so much. My first time for a review. I wanted to spread the joy and say CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!

Good selection of affordable trees and shrubs, but very sparse selection of others (annuals, perennial flowers.) If you need to landscape a new area quickly, this is a good place to fill in larger spaces affordably, but the nearby McClendons hardware has a better selection of bedding plants. Caveat: we went in early July. Perhaps the selection is larger earlier in the season.

We have been to Kent East Hill Nursery many times. Recently we did a huge project (see photo) and nearly everything came from Kent East Hill Nursery. Sometimes we have shopped at Costco, but the price and selection here is great. The staff are super, helpful and great with the customers, even on the busy weekends.

Outstanding variety of plants by the new owners. Everything look great and the costs are competitive. I just bought three five gallon "clumping bamboo" plants for our yard. There was plenty of help in the nursery and the people behind the counter were fast and effective. I shall return...

Fun local nursery with a selection of the essential plants, especially shrubs and trees. Very easy going atmosphere if you want to go browse. The staff are friendly and let you take your time.
