went here for years with my boyfriend prices have gone way up so its memorial day sale ok that should be a little cheaper right ? we pick some items wait in a long line then a woman who said shes a pricier from the back accused us of changing price tags for a start i do not do this and never would i worked in a large retail store and had people fired for this and bad returns used worn t-shirt priced $ 4.99 which on sale would be $ 2.50 she said the tag was switched t-shirt not short sleeved blouse also there were many more with the same price on the racks coat my boyfriend found $ 7.99 short vintage pale not hipster she said it was marked $ 12.99 all coats are $ 12.99 and up no matter what weight or length she said check you store tags lady! mini bow ties were .99 cent on a table for about 6 months she tried to say they were $ 1.99 she pulled tags off put them back on and said thats who a person does this she meant us ! ( you could see the tags had not been removed before she did this ) i would never donate again or shop in this store as you called me crook and in front of everyone your prices are nuts and some of you staff crazy! if i do not have the money for something ( i just do not buy it, not turn into low life ticket switchers) she claimed people did this all day !( i used to like this store now its just gone to the dogs) the other people ringing people up didnt even look at tags just ask what it was priced at

The deals I have gotten here have been top notch. I enjoyed the selection and how fast it rotates, and this may sound odd, but its nice that they prop up the big things and interesting pieces up against the big window by the side of the road so you can get a quick look while driving by - why some places insist on putting the smallest items near the Window is beyond me. Only thing I dont enjoy about this places in the infrastructure. Im not sure what it is, but it feels a bit like theyre still "moving in" - its always hot inside and they prop these GIANT fans up at full instead of some form of AC, the line seems to grow and take a while to die and the employees seem to be a bit discoordinated with their volunteers.

I scheduled a pick up of items left over from a church rummage sale. It took two months for them to come out. They said that they would call me the day before with their projected pick up time. Instead, they opted to call 15 minutes before they arrived at my door. When they got to the church for the pick up, they proceeded to tell me that they wouldnt take most of my items. Nevermind that I had given them an itemized list ahead of time. These people act like you are trying to sell items rather than donate to a charity. Overall, the people at this "ministry" are rude and far too full of themselves. Ill go back to the local thrift store that always had a good attitude and were thankful.

Someone decided that this thrift store should be run like a boutique shop, they now select out all the good stuff and price ii as if they were collector items. I found a pair of Gucci uni-sex plastic sunglasses there that they had missed, and were in a pile of junk, when I went up to pay for them I was excited and mentioned they were Gucci, the sales girl then says "oh then they are the wrong price" and more than doubled the price on me. The fun of shopping in thrift stores is the chance you will find a treasure for next to nothing, if they select all the treasures out and price them as treasures then wheres the fun?

Ive been a customer of the Burien St. Vincent de Paul for the last 4+ years and have always been treated well and have received good customer service. On top of the low prices, they often have sales and daily discounts. I also feel good about donating (and shopping) here because 89% of income gained goes into programs for King County. They also double as a food bank. Talk about convenience :-) Only downside is they have limited parking that can be difficult to get in and out of, depending on how many people are there.

Fairly well organized second hand store. Good values on things like kitchen appliances & knock about furniture. Got a load of fantastic wood hangers a couple years ago. Cant bring myself to rate a thrift shop five stars . . . not sure why!

Donated some stuff and nothing bad. The guy at the Burien location was telling me he would not take some of it. Told him I would not play used car dealer WITH FREE STUFFTO THEM. I am pissed. I am done with this charity!

This is not my favorite location. I couldnt find any dressing rooms, and they tend to have a fairly limited selection. But prices are good, and if you are looking for knick knacks this is a good location for that.

Wide variety of things, mostly good to excellent condition. Fairly priced, helpful staff, but... Limitations on space and staffing to keep up with straightening up. Some areas jumbled up.

I love thrift stores even though they have all gotten pricier over the years (hasnt everything?) St. Vinnies seems to have more good furniture than others.

I like that this store is connected to religious charitable organizations. Ask if they will accept donations, since the floorspace might now allow items.

Clean and pretty organized for a second hand store. Friendly staff too. Loved the homage to Pride weekend in the window too. Subtle, but so supportive.

The staff is nice and friendly and, for having a lot of stuff in the store, it is fairly well-organized.
