Its a good bookstore & W&M college gear store as long as you dont have defective merchandise that you need to return. Rude & sarcastic clerk treated us terribly, insinuating we were lying & trying to cheat the store over a VERY obvious defect. Manager was unavailable then & continued to be unreachable by phone over the next week until I just gave up on my complaint. Not an impressive staff or management.

Its a Barnes and Noble, but still very enjoyable. If I lived here, the W & M bookstore is where Id come! The blueberry scone was appetizing and they also have good cookies. Be aware that just because they sell Starbucks products does not mean they can accept Starbucks cards. As a gold member, I was rather disappointed.

This is a campus bookstore that is partnered with Barnes and Noble so it is very professional. You have your standard books like a Barnes and Noble would have but also your textbooks and required materials for students. The college themed clothing section is also very popular with my parents who are alumni.

The books are pretty over-priced, seems like you should just order everything online instead of going to the store. The upstairs cafe also served me a quiche which looked like it was under-cooked. Would not recommend. Nice place to study, but dont get food there.

It was super awesome being cursed out by your clerk, Jessica C today! Such an appropriate way for her to treat customers. NOT going back. Miserably rude staff, its obviously that they dont want to be there, but telling me to "f*** off" was a little much.

Fairly good selection and friendly atmosphere. Its fine to stop in just for a coffee in the upstairs or to browse over magazines and fun tech gadgets. For better selection and better parking, stop in the Barnes and Noble in new town.

This is a great place to find books on Williamsburg and Virginia history. Plus they have all of the regular stock that a Barnes and Noble would carry. This is a must stop when in Merchants Square!

Worldwide shortage of cream reported here first at the coffee store. Cream not available until mid January. No one else in the Williamsburg area seems aware of this yet. Trendsetter.

good place to buy books but do not recommend going to the cafe the barista was rude and impatient when ordering a wrap or a sandwich. again dont go to the Starbucks or cafe in it.

Neat bookstore with a cafe and a rather large seating area. I ended up just relaxing for a while on one of the upstairs seats watching the people go by. A lovely break in the day!
