This is not just a book store its a knick knack store for everything from Russia. There are books, tapes, toys and more. The staff has an attitude and really dont care if they make a sale. I went in to get a russian doll for one of my students. Paid for the overpriced doll and left. You cant wander and shop because the meter-parking limits your time. During the summer it is very difficult to take a car to this area.

I always stop by this store when Im in the neighborhood - they have everything from Gzhel teapots to wool socks and Pavloposadsky shawls. Bonus: the music being played at the store is hilarious, every time I discover some new gem.

They have fun Russian and Soviet era toys as well as a good selection of books, but they are way overpriced and the staff is not friendly at all. They need to learn American customer service.
