As someone who has worked here let it be known that this may come across as biased. Most of the cashiers are nice, not always the fastest moving, but they engage with people which is the appeal; Sadly, so you all know, like most of the employees here they dont get paid much. With that in mind, they still try their best to accommodate your needs. Grocery is mostly in stock and the people in it try their best despite being short handed; Only issue Ive ever encountered is when they dont have the water I like to get on my lunch. Easy fix, there is other stuff to select from. Deli has some exceptional people who have great customer service, will go out of their way to help you, but like any job there are a few who dont pay too much attention to the prepared foods counter. Delis prepared product is generally great, Im a big fan of the Italian wraps/Asian Sesame Salad/The Bistro Meals. As for bakery, again good staff, the quality of the product Ive purchased has always been great between the Chocolate Croissants, Cherry & Apple Strudels, Lemon and Cheese Strudels, muffins are pretty good, and the blueberry banana nut bread is by far my favorite; I like to get a few whenever they have the buy 1 get one sale. I had only one issue with the quality of the bakerys product, once, and so long as you tell someone about it they will make it right for you. As for Produce be careful which apples you get; however, Id suggest the Ruby Frost, Opal, Pink Lady as they are some of my favorites. Sumo Mandarins were really big, but theyre out of season I believe. Now, one of the biggest concerns for the Produce department should be its in-stock issues; Salads never in the right place or never enough, the organic selection is a little lack-luster, Ive found some questionable product in produce that makes you wonder why its there on the sales-floor still. The vegetables are generally of decent to great quality. Just be sure to keep your eyes open for the fruits. As for the Meet Department, they have it pretty rough, but theyre generally some of the hardest working people Ive met. Lot of people have particular ways they want stuff packaged, but the people here have no problem accommodating to what you need done; if its a big order just try to call in advance, they usually only have 2 people on staff in the evenings to nights and it can get overwhelming. I realize another of the biggest issues is that its difficult to get through to a line and thats something the store should probably work on as a whole. I didnt discuss much on Floral, but the girl they have over there is very friendly and eager to assist whoever should it be for that special anniversary or just getting something nice. Sadly, her hours can be a little inconsistent and they dont keep someone in floral nearly long enough and as frequent as they should in my opinion. As for management look for John, Bonnie, and Christine; by far some of the best people to work with and theyll go out of their way to make it right in whatever they can. Final verdict, as a consumer this is a decent place to go too; however, to work for is another story all together. I hope that this detailed review can help anyone who happens to take a look.

Just walked in here for curiosity and findout whats tne difference from other markets. Their produce have reasonable prices compared to other organic sourced stores. Took a picture of their "nut mix" which is priced for $20 - I think that is a little bit expensive or maybe mislabeled. They have lots of variations for groceries that is not available on other stores, like if you are looking for a specific brand or type of spice that other stores dont have, you might be able to see it here. (Was looking for fresh angel hair pasta for my ramen and found it here - not available in other stores even whole foods). Their space is a little bit cramped, its hard to walk on their aisles if you have people walking on opposite directions which we had a hard time and even wait for a person to be done in order the reach the object we need - we went on a Sunday afternoon and it got busy. Overall nice and clean place and I hope they could manage their space a little bit more and reorganize. I also have to call other stores to find out their phone number which is not available on their website.

Theres a devastatingly handsome young rogue working here as a butcher. I believe his name is Christopher though if you can take your eyes away from his long enough to glance at his badge youre a stronger person than I. To be perfectly honest and upfront I believe him to be Gods gift to this location, let alone the entire planet. If you should have the esteemed pleasure of encountering this absolutely magnificent specimen of a human being, count your blessings and understand that every moment in your life will now feel less special unless he is directly involved. Im also totally not him, I swear.

The "Fresh" part of Fresh Market leaves a lot to be desired. I have about a 50% success rate in getting good food. Stay away from the fresh fruit, it went bad in a couple days (moldy grapes and blueberries). Im expecting 4 or 5 days of edibility. One visit, the ribs were great, the next time, they were tough and hard to eat. The one pre-made salad I tried was awful, though the ingredients sounded delicious. The place is very clean and pretty. I can tell they really wants to be high-end, but it has a LONG road to Whole-paycheck or Wegmans level of food.

Its dangerous crossing the street to get to the place as drivers seem to have no regard for pedestrians or other drivers for that matter. The store itself is okay, nothing special. Deli food is touch and go. Sometimes it looks and tastes good, other times not. I would describe the deli staff as touch and go as well. Sometimes they are friendly, other times they are not. The cashiers are always pleasant, though.

My favorite market to go. Produce is always the best and cheaper then other places, amazing cheese section, just everything is great! Employees friendly. Sometimes it does get a little busy here and it is smaller then the other hilltop fresh market but theres little to complain about this store and the issues I have encountered shopping in the last year are mininal compared to other places.

Beautiful store, but a wee bit on the pricey side. Also, be on your guard when driving through the parking lot because the lot is full of super aggressive drivers, and the layout was very poorly designed when considering the very fast green light that allows cars to exit the lot onto Independence Boulevard.

We are ecstatic that this Fresh Market has opened at Pembroke. Their meat is really of superior quality. The meal deals they offer are actually real money savers, so be sure to check them out. Their take and bake options make for great quick dinners, and they are also a good grab and go spot for lunch.

Purchased a 4 pack of Chobani Yogurt, today is May 17, 2017 and the expiration date is March 17, 2017 didnt notice until I was throwing container and lid away. Seriously, 2 months? Incompetent employees working the dairy section is a big no no. Check the expiration dates if you buy yogurt here.
