I like Save a Lot for its prices on some items that they sell, a lot of the generic brands of food and drinks they sell taste just as good as the big names they are copying. That is the reason for the 3 stars, however the help need to work on their people skills, also only 1 register opened is not good. Charging for shopping bags is also not good either, but I bring my own bags,so what can you do. Also I didnt like it today that a Cashier was calling me out as a liar, I used my Food stamps card, typed it into the card reader that it was for Food stamps and not Cash, but she "claims" I didnt do that! I said, "Thats your fault cause I did punch the button for Food stamps!" My Cousin even witnessed this as well, so I did it again the same way and I said "Worked that time now didnt it?!" Cashier had no answer.

Food is C H E A P here. Cheap. Its like Aldi, in that they carry discount brands, limited selections and self bagged groceries. The produce here, however is generally of a higher quality. Cheap. I buy knock off girl scouts cookies here that taste identical to the real samoas. Also, I dont feel like as much of a scrub for shopping here, as there is normal shelving instead of Aldis pallet display style of setup. Did I mention that the food here is cheap?

Great place..great deals..and there meat is cheap..and i beleive some of the meat they package and sell..they do themselves..even there family packs of meat are cheap.and from my expereince with the steaks,even when they are sell by today deals,is nice and tender,i buy the t-bone steak and never, was it not tender when i cooked it..

This is my first stop when food shopping. They usually have really good meat specials and with meat being so expensive, its good to start there. I have a chest freezer so I stock up. Plus there are good bargains on name brand cereal and there is a 5 for 19.99 section in the freezer which is good for things like fries, waffles ect.

Imported cheep cuts of meat from foreign lands, that meet the USDA requirements. Produce is low quality. Processed meats have 6 month expectations, can only amagin what preseritves are in them.
