By far the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. First of all I was overcharged for the boot by a lot. Second of all they lied to me and told me that because of the severe weather across the nation Red Wings employees were having to work overtime to get the boots produced and they were simply out of stock. I decided I could not wait I need new boots so I told him to refund my money. There is still no money in my account and as it turns out I went to the Chesapeake Red Wing store and they had the very boots that I was told did not even exist currently because of the severe weather in stock. And just because the guy understood how I felt gave me a discount because of the poor customer service at the Virginia Beach location. I have never in my life complained or written a poor review. But my back and feet have been killing me for two and a half weeks waiting for the boots that should have already been there. Meanwhile I am given the runaround on bad feat. Im very extremely highly recommending you not going to this: store. I would definitely go to the Chesapeake corporate location.

Worst customer service ever. If zero stars were an option then I would give them that. - The tatted up lady behind the counter didnt even look up from her cell phone or her paper work for the first 10 minutes I was in the store. I was the only customer there. - She didnt even look up when I walked up to her desk and she asked "What do you want?" - The store had no selection of shoes. - I dont know my shoe size and she didnt even offer to measure. She made me take my shoe off and tell her my size. - She didnt even get out of her chair. - I was looking for two specific model numbers with special requirements for work. (Electrical hazard, steel toe, non-marking.) - She became obviously agitated when I asked her the prices. She had to pick up a three-ring binder after all. Definitely looking other places now.

This was my first time shopping at this location, considering I just moved here. I was greeted courteously by a blonde and african american woman. The younger blonde lady named Amanda asked me how she could help and what kind of shoes qualites was I looking for. Then she measured me up to make sure my size was accurate. She stuck with me and helped me find 2 pairs of boots that worked perfectly for me. One pair was on sale and the other she honored my military discount. She even told me about the warranties on both of my shoes and what all that includes. Excellent customer service!! My only complaint is that they are really low on stock right now, but other than that I would definitley shop here again!!

Love Red Wings, they are comfortable and they last. The store is on the smaller side and so the selection is a little limited. They can order what you need but that is a very difficult way to achieve the correct fit. Good news is that if you need to return the boots they have a fair policy. Delt with both the "tatted" lady and the gentleman who works there and had no problems with either... Must have been an off day when the other reviewers patronized the store. 4 stars just for the limited selection, otherwise perfectly fine experience.

This place used to be great. I just left and they dont have anything stock. Their selection has been whittled down to about 15 different styles. Its a real shame this place used to be the best. I guess I have to go somewhere else to find my boots. The only thing there good for now is taken care of warranty work and resealing my old boots.

As of Saturday morning at least, there was a sign posted that says, "closed until further notice". I drove 20 min out of my to get here after calling them just a week prior to ensure they took boots to be re-soled. Waste of time. Call ahead.

The guy who works in there is very knowledgeable and helpful. The older black lady who works behind the counter. Could not care less about helping a customer. Ive been going there for about 10 years now. But thats the last time I will go

Very friendly customer service. Small store with a nice selection of footwear and socks. And the place smells like Mission BBQ from next door, which is a huge plus.
