My family has been using Dr. Ferrara for years now and have never had a problem. My husband went to see Dr. Ferrara on March 3rd and they took him back speedily. My husband says that he likes the thoroughness of Dr. Ferraras examination as he always double check to be sure that his prescription is the right strength. We both always appreciate his thoroughness as we see him annually and lets face it as we get older, things change for good or worse. Every time either of us have visited his office he always gives us extra pairs of contacts to try out especially when trying new brands and this time for my husband it was no different. Dr. Ferrara always ask if your brand of contacts is still working for you and if they are not, he always recommends a different brand. He is very down-to-earth, personable, and friendly. He makes you feel like he really cares as he remembers your conversation from the last visit and will ask you how you are doing and what has been going since he has last seen you. He also has always comes to greet my children when we visit him as we are a homeschooling family that has three kids ranging in ages from 3, 6, 8 years old. The staff were very friendly as well and helpful. They did not seem to mind at all that my children were along for the visit. In fact they stopped to talk to my children and asked them questions as they were watching a movie on my tablet.

My college age daughter was recently in town for a quick visit and was complaining that her eyesight seemed to be changing. I called Pearle Vision at Lynnhaven where Dr. Dan Ferrara and his staff of professionals went out of their way to fit her in for a comprehensive eye exam immediately. With the guidance of a very experienced and accommodating eye care sales associate, Theresa, we were shown a variety of beautiful frames and were able to narrow it to down to the perfect fit for my daughter. Not only did the professionals at Pearle Vision, Lynnhaven Mall, answer all of our questions and meet our needs in a timely manner, they also shipped my daughters new prescription eye glasses directly to her at college within days. I am very grateful for Dr. Dan Ferrara and Pearle Vision for the services they provided for my daughter. I will most definitely return to Pearle Vision for any future eye care services we may need. First time I got a quote for glasses here, the person did not take all my insurance discounts into consideration. I came back the next day, and a more experienced staff member gave me correct quotes for everything (almost $200 less!!), so I ordered a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses. Glasses were done in an hour, but the staff member couldnt find any cases for this brand, so I was given a soft cosmetic bag instead. Needless to say, Im not using it for glasses. The sunglasses were to be done in 3-5 days. On the 5th day I called, only to learn that the lenses had not been cut yet and there was no lab technician in to do them, so it would be an additional 1-2 days. So I ended up having to buy a real case for my glasses and then go on vacation with no sunglasses.

Dr. Rahman is awesome. Patient, involved and very friendly. Sales staff is extremely attentive (be patient with them if you have secondary vision insurance as it can take them a bit to find all the coverage options to give you the right prices). Their selection of frames and sunglasses are great and the prices are very fair. I love the fast turnaround for my glasses! My family and I have been going to this location for years and will continue to do so.

I had a great experience. In December I went to another eye care place in lynhavven mall, only because Dr. Ferraras office was packed and my experience there was nothing compared to my experience with Dr. Ferrara. At my visit this month, in june he was very personable and didnt rush through with seeing me. Very accommodating and friendly environment. I am happy that I decided to go back and give them a try. Great experience!!

Dont go here to get your glasses. Its been 13 business days (16 calendar days) since I ordered my glasses and they told me my glasses would be in by TODAY and long and behold they are not. They are very friendly but that can only go so far. I need my glasses and I have no idea when they will be in because they can not give me an answer. Very disappointed will not receive my business anymore. I do not recommend to anyone.

Place is pretty chill. They offer good discounts too. Oakley frames always fits right on me so happy they have good amount of selections. This will be my first time to wear glasses. Wish the staff would explain more on what they are doing since I have no idea.(Did not google before I came here). The front desk peeps need to be more welcoming and informative, but its afternoon so they may just be tired.

I had my first optometrist visit in almost twenty years at this location. Very pleased with how welcoming, friendly, and helpful everyone was, on both the retail and the exam side. Dr Ferrara took the time to listen to my vision concerns and I walked out feeling well taken care of. I *highly* recommend this location.

I have battled extremely dry eyes when I use my contacts for as long as I can remember. After my first appointment with Dr. Ferrar many years ago, he diagnosed the issue and I have not had any problems at all with discomfort. A very nice a professional staff, I highly recommend DR. FERRAR and his team to anyone!
