Ive been going to northwest hardware since it was built! They have a lot of cool hard to find things and they have a large Case knife selection. I purchased a very expensive knife there a month ago for my fathers 70th birthday and he loves his fossilized mammoth ivory tusk knife! I went back on Friday to purchase myself a nice new Case knife. Well thats where the bad experience started. I asked the lady if she could please unlock the display case so I could look at a few. She replied she was busy, and all she was doing was eating a cookie not checking out people or doing anything of importance! So I waited patiently and when another lady was done checking out people she said Ill be right there thank you for waiting sir. In the mean time the other lady is on her way back toward the case and says well I was going to open it but he can just wait. I thought lady I spent 300 $ on a knife last month and was about to purchase another one for myself until you came over here. So anyway the helpful young lady informed me that the didnt have that one I was looking for but showed me a very nice knife that was very similar to the one I wanted and also let me know it was on sale that day for much less than the other one I wanted. I purchased the knife only because the young lady was very nice and knowledgeable about the knives there. I was ready to walk out after the attitude I got from the older lady but wanted to give the young lady a chance to keep the sale. Ive been coming in this place for a long time but until the older lady with the terrible attitude changes that I wont be coming there unless I cant find what I need somewhere else! Very disappointing to me as I use to love to shop here. :(

Love going in northwest true value for the variety of things they carry, some things are alittle pricey but thats the price you have to pay for convenience. The employees are very friendly and helpful.
