The cashiers are some of the rudest people Ive ever had to deal with. The cashier Malik decided to deny me service based on my appearance. Well to be honest that is the only logical reason. The experience I had tonight has me doing something Ive never done before, which is I plan on speaking with the store manager and explain the negativity and humiliation I was put thru. Ive worked retail for over 10 years so I understand its a stressful job, but tonight I came in to return 2 items (I had my receipt) my girlfriend has purchased earlier in the day which were things we didnt need. Now I work normally to late night/early morning (Ill be off work anywhere between midnight-2am). Naturally there was nobody behind the counter due to the time which was fine, I got Maliks attention and before I could finish my sentence he denied me service as he put, I had returned items before because they werent needed or my girlfriend has gotten the wrong thing and that I needed to come back in the morning. Now I have returned items at the CVS for those reasons before (which are valid I think), the last time was 2 nights ago, but is not a regular occurrence and i always a receipt. As this CVS is the only 24 hr remotely near where I live and due to my work schedule I am normally there at what most people would think are odd hours, but those hours are the easiest for me. All of this happened in front of 2 other customers as the cashier wasnt about his disdain for me. Now I said I felt it was due to my appearance. I myself am a 30 year old white male, I currently have a full beard (due to me not shaving on the last week or so) and the clothing I was wearing was what most people would describe as comfortable clothing (large, baggy sweatpants a long sleeve shirt and an unzipped hooded sweatshirt). So yes someone could sit there and say I looked like a bum, but that has nothing to do with how people should treat others. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong just because I wished to return 2 items. This is unacceptable to me. This man passed judgement on me for dont reason that I dont understand. So in a few hours will be the last time I have anything to do with this CVS after I speak with his manager and after I email their corporate office explaining how disappointed and angry i am. Just having to type this out bothers me as I never thought of have to negatively speak about an individual in retail as Ive worked for different before and understand what kind of crap they have to deal with daily, but I cant let this slide. If youve read all this sorry for the rant, my opinion skip this CVS, itll save you from having to write a review like this.

All the people gave bad reviews are the people who do not consider the working environment here. The pharmacy always have the nicest staff here. They just do not have enough people to help. They always take good care of me when I come here either to fill a prescription for family or to buy something front store. I witnessed they work so hard and tried their best to keep up with everybodys demands. We, as customers. cannot demand too much if we are not responsible ourselves. I overheard stupid conversation like, "Where is the soap?". Common you are not illiterate, are you? and you wait for the pharmacist at the consultation area just to find out where they are. Make common sense people. They are not supermen. They run around like crazy here. You have 10 prescriptions in hands to fill when there are 10 people waiting. Have a common sense. Do you want them to fill your meds in 15 min? They are not hamburgers, they are your medicines, people! I love staff here and they do their best (although it takes them some time to help me because they re so busy and I gave them 4 stars).

In the entire time Ive used this pharmacy, they have met their estimated time...once. Ive been called by the pharmacy saying my prescription is ready, but when I arrive, they havent even touched it. I usually wait anywhere from 30-75 minutes for a prescription. There is almost always a line. Not like 2-4 people, its usually a minimum of 5. They are horribly understaffed and they know this. Only once has it been enjoyable to file a Rx at this location. I do not believe they care about getting the job done, they care that they have their location. I found the staff knowledgeable, but they are so incredibly understaffed that I asked for a flu shot and I was told the wait was 2 hours. Not because there was a long line of shots (there wasnt), but because they still had an overburdened pickup line. I will only use this pharmacy when I absolutely must.

Only one star because a cero star isnt an option. Andrea which we had the "pleasure" to meet denied us service bc they were 10 minutes away from closing. I thought a pharmacy which provides medication which is extremely important to health wouldnt deny service bevause they are 10 minutes away from closing. To put the icing on the cake I left the prescription over night to be able to pick it up sometime the next day, i came back to pick up nothing but more attitude. The pharmacy supervisor came to us to only give us more attitude. If i had received the medication i wouldnt care about their lack of service and incompetence..... but since a pharmacy cant provide the only service they are required to they dont deserve any stars but that isnt an option.

Only gave one star because there was no option for zero. My store did not have the medicine needed, so they transfered the Rx to this store. I was told it would be filled and I would be called that night as they were a 24-hour facility. I did not recieve a call. The next morning I called this store and was told the Rx was not transfered, and when my store opened at 9 am they would call to get it. I arrived close to 10 and was told they had not yet called. When they did so at that time, it was discovered that the Rx had in fact been faxed the night before and was sittiing on their fax machine! No one checked the night before or that morning even though my store told them they were sending the Rx and it was needed that night.

This CVS hasnt improved. Pharmacy people are not caring. They do not go out of the way to ensure customers are treated right. The rest of the store is worst of all. Customer service isnt good. Worst experience with their curbside pickup. Order cancelled after getting email about order pickup. I give it 2 star because other its not always such a bad experience. It just depends on getting help from the right employee. I think overall CVS company doesnt treat their employees right. That must be the issue. Also quality of CVS prescription medicines are bad compared to other places. Compared to other pharmacy CVS prescription medicine price is also high. You get less for more price.

This pharmacy made me feel like a criminal. I am a cancer survivor and tried to fill pain pills there and was told that my prescriptions were written in DC and were therefore not believable. I then had to search for a place to fill the pain meds. I was told it was "against the law" to fill a DC prescription. Ive checked with other CVS pharmacy locations about when they told me it was "against the law" to fill a prescription from out of state, and that is just not true. The store picks and chooses which prescriptions they want to fill and which they will not. Do yourself a favor and check with the Giant next door first. Good people who helped me try to get everything I need.
