This local grocer is an excellent source of local, seasonal foods. If you missed the farmers market on the weekend, never fear. As a natural health consultant and foodie who has worked in massage and nutrition for years, it is down right exciting to see handmade local products like Natural Beautiful Skins healing moisturizer. It is Shea butter, honey, and coconut oil whipped to perfection. Every ingredient on the list is followed by a short explanation of its benefits. I dont know whether to smear it all over or eat it. Nurturing things should always hope to feel so sensually rewarding. Thank you Harvest Market. You even offer real food for skin care! Thanks for making my day. P.S. If they have the local shiitake in the store, buy a bag, some of butter, and bottle of black gomasiao (black sesame seeds and sea salt). Go home and make some fire under that collection of awesome!

This is a small, local grocer that specializes in organic and gluten free and locally sourced items. I am hardly ever disappointed in the selection of items available, and very often am surprised they actually carry items that are difficult to find in other locations. Their prices are not always the best on some items, but as they are a small business its often hard to compete with some of the larger retailers. That being said I do not think their prices are outrageous. What they do well is customer service. If there is something in particular I would like, but they do not carry, they have always ordered it for me and let me know as soon as it arrives. If the item turns out to be a popular item, they will usually begin carrying that item (such as the gluten free tortellini). I highly recommend this establishment!

This is a great owner. Shes got almost everything you can think of, and will order what she doesnt if you ask. Shell also tell you ways to make your own stuff if the branded things are too expensive for your budget. I shop here every week. Its more expensive than Food Lion or Giant, but its the place to go for organic. I buy organic dried beans there, in bulk. I also buy grass fed milk and bulk honey. This is a great store. Im so grateful I dont have to drive all the way to Richmond to find a store like this.

There are not enough true community markets around right now and this is one of the only of its kind in Fredericksburg. The service is personal and genuine. The goods are locally produced as much as possible or at least small batch, organic, or holistic. It is clean. The staff is knowledgeable. And before you complain about prices here think first that this place isnt selling anything that is polluting our environment or shortcutting with unhealthy ingredients.

Love this place! I work in Spotsylvania but live in Fredericksburg and I am always coming out here weekly to get Chicken Salad and Virginia Caviar! Amazing stuff and located in the refrigeration unit to the back(rear) right of the store. I also tried some hemp bites this time and they were wonderful. So glad they are here to provide such good quality ingredients and foods locally.

great selection of organic items as well as cleaning supplies, most of which is kinda hard to find. This store is lucky to have it, staff were very friendly, there was a pretty good selection of organic produce as well as laundry detergent and dairy items

Excellent selection of gf, non-gmo, and other natural foods. We ate the delightful chicken salad for lunch today. A little pricey with their natural cleaning products but overall an excellent market, great location, and nice staff.
