This place is a real find and the food is great. I went to Israel in 2013 and ate almost exclusively in Arabic restaurants. . . this food rivals that. At our last visit, we ordered a variety of dishes for take-out and our vegetarian friend who eats vegetarian said it rivals the best food she gets in Chicago. We also ordered meat dishes, one being the dish of the day, and all were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The couple that owns the place is from Syria. They are absolutely lovely and treat you as if you are in their home.
