I am over the high publicity this place gets. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Clearly my sales person got me in my car for his numbers and that was it. There are select rude people at both locations, they sold me a car with no struts and insisted my "low profile" tires made my car bounce horribly, which was not the case, the car didnt even have low profile tires. Goes to show how literate my sales person was about cars. They dont give their customers any common courtesy, so, so long to "free oil" changes, oh and dont let you be a single woman going in trying to handle business because they will take advantage of that. They gossiped about me to one another when I brought my car back to get the struts fixed thinking I was a dumb woman. I have nothing nice to say about this place. Free oil change or not, I have my car, you can keep your services, I will never send anyone to this place.

Our sales man, Dave was great. The dealer selects the car THEY think you can afford and get financed. Then you get to see it. Be sure to get the info on the lender they approve you with so that you know who to expect calls from for second copies of everything the dealer made copies of but failed to provide to the lender. Make certain you check for spare tires and car mats as they most likely will be missing (even though other spare tire accessories exist in car)!! And start calling two weeks after purchase for your permanent tags, as they go to the dealer and they will only call you ONCE to tell you they are ready and dont return messages when you call to inquire where they are. Took three calls, two messages and a fourth call to get someone to check to find them!

Liked the car, hated the RUDE salesman and chaotic car lot....drove over 2 hours to see a car I was assured was still available...once I got there, the sales rep (Scott) was arrogant and rude, argued with me over the trim of the car (which he was wrong about btw and was pointed out to him on the Carfax and the brochure that HE gave me..lmao), kept going outside to talk to another customer who was supposedly trying to buy the same vehicle, and blew off the fact that there were two old recalls on the vehicle that had never been taken care of...very obvious he didnt want to help me....worst customer service ever....i wouldnt buy a car from this dealership for $1.....will definite take my money elsewhere

Let me get a car with no credit at 19. Lowered my monthly and over all payments! Very nice staff!! (I had Patrick as my sales rep.) Helped me with knowledge on things I never knew before. Patient with their costumers and made sure I got the car within my price range, without making stupid mistakes. But very forgetful. Had me come in once a week for the first month to bring in things they kept forgetting to ask me to bring, such as pay stubs, social security card, ect. My credit union contacted me asking me for things VA cars was supposed to send in. A headache to deal with at first, but now Ive had no problems! Offer great deals, when purchasing cars.

06/2016 I purchased a nice car at VA CARS. Within a week I began hearing a noise I brought the car back to VA CARS . To my understanding the car was fixed.. but I still heard the noise. I brought it back again and spoke to Rick..(service manager). Rick took the time to drive the car with me for 35 to 45 minutes -- in doing so he was able hear the same noise. He fixed the car and showed me what the problem was. I really appreciate Rick taking the time to find out what was bothering me and willing to go the extra mile to help and not guess what was wrong. Thank you so much Rick. I have no more issues Great Job!

This place is the best dealership I have been to ever. I called just to inquire about the prices and basic questions. Precious described everything to me in full detail and got me an appointment to come in. Mark the sales rep was helpful, friendly and gave great advice for future use. Terry and everyone else I spoke to got the job done with no hassle. I have a friend that needs a car and recommend him to VA cars. I would send anyone there before any dealership in VA. Best part was how they treated me as a customer, we joked and laughed and still got the job done. Now I got a 2014 Nissan Altima. Thanks VA cars!

We had a great experience with VA Cars. Derrick Pulliam provided outstanding customer service and . He was very pleasant, professional and a very nice person. I appreciated his non-aggressiveness in serving us. The entire transaction was seamless and efficient from beginning to end. Ashley was also great ,personable and efficient. Scott was also very helpful. I was empressed how everyone was supportive of each other. There was a sense of a family atmosphere. We were not rushed at any time. Was pleasant at first, then when they were needed, the ONLY answers i got from them were I DONT KNOW. They took 2 months and gave me the run around on what was needed to get me financed, after letting me leave with the car and said i was approved, two sets of 30 day tags, which im sure is not legal, and then say i need to bring their car back. !!Horrible customer service, did not give me all copies of everything i signed, very untrustworthy and rude!! I would never recommend them or refer anyone to go there!!!

My salesguy was the best his name was Tyler. Told him i was looking for something good for my first time buying a car.He suggested the car I now have (2012 nissan sentra) and it was a done deal, offered to fix the minor scratches and all, sd for gps and everything else. I got all of my paperwork done and was good to go. Im in love with my car and he went out of his way to help me out. ill see where my car journey takes me everything seems okay now! We went to VA Cars so that my daughter could purchase her first vehicle. Keon was the sales person and he made everything seem so simple. My daughter is 19, no credit established and works for a temp agency. These are all reasons she was turned down at many other dealerships. VA Cars made it happen. They made it happen and my daughter did not have an outrageous down payment or monthly payment. I will definitely be going back there for a car if and when i need another.

Purchased a car that began having problems off the lot. Each time I took it back, somebody different would talk me into believing it was something simple and that it was fine. 2 years later the car has been alive only 6 months. Seeking legal now. They offered to Service it again. Its been 2 days and no one has communicated or looked at it. They keep asking the same questions.very frustrated that we still owe $6500 on this car and its just sitting.
