My DH wanted to buy me a designer handbag, and my first thought was, "Nordstroms!" Well, that was a big big mistake! After buying a $1000 + handbag and having a great experience shopping, we went to buy the kiddies some shoes. The ladies in the shoe department are either incompetent or just plain rude. The manager of the childrens shoe dept. in particular was very unpleasant (this is our 2nd trip here in a 2 week time period). Well, the customer service was soo bad we returned the bag I had just purchased. I will NEVER shop there again, I have never felt like I mattered less in my life. However , Scotty was terrific! I urge people to ask for him. He made me feel very special when trying to find that special bag to make me feel like a princess.

I remember when this store opened when I was in high school in McLean in the late 80s and they had some pretty decent sales people, but now they are all really aggressive & rude. Seems like theyll hire anyone off the street (what do you expect for the revolving door in retail sales) The sales people in the Mens shoes and suits depts sit around doing nothing except making jokes to their co-workers and are rude and aggressive. It has really gone downhill over the years. The so called chefs can be seen smoking and cursing outside and under the sky-walk by the parking garage. (Makes them unattractive to upper scale customers coming into the store!) Over-all it makes for an undesirable shopping experience.

I came to this store to return a pair of sunglasses that I had a receipt for but do not have the tag . The manager on shift very aggressively explained to me their return policy. I understand that the receipt clearly states their policies but I came anyway to see if they can work something out for me. She didnt have to humiliate me by raising her voice and talking to me so condescendingly. Their store offerings are slim and boring. Top it with horrendous customer service straight from the manager and youre sure to regret your visit. Go to the ones in Arlingron,VA instead.

I recently had a lovely blazer altered here. It was VERY big on me because Id lost quite a bit of weight. I asked if they could do it and the tailor assured me it would be easy. It was BUTCHERED. I could have made it work with less tailoring. It honestly looked like Id bought it at K-mart. Which wasnt the worst part. Three salespeople in Encore stood around and told me it looked JUST fine and that it was the style. Thats not Nordstrom. I had no issue returning it, but I lost a terrific blazer and will not go back to this location.

Thank you !! Pauline Adkins Wow!! what great customer service, talking about going the extra mile for their clents, Pauline assured that my purchase would get to my daughter in time for the Inauguration. Not only did she help me with its destination Pauline and Jasmine picked out a couple garments that worked great with the beauitful ball gown (that I purchased there as well) so, I got them both. This store carries beautiful womens clothing and the customer service is the best.

I was a long-time fan of Nordstrom but the quality at this location is now extremely poor. Not just in many of the items Ive recently purchased, but more importantly in the tailoring. Almost every item their tailoring team has touched in the last year has quickly fallen apart. This store is not living up to the brand, hopefully other Nordstrom stores arent also infected with this quality deficit.

Absolutely my favorite Nordstrom anywhere. The store is big, attractively laid out, easy to navigate, and always a pleasure. Service is (usually) expedient and helpful. This store has become my gold standard when shopping for myself or others, and is always my first go-to for anything. Although a bit of a hike, I find the trip is worth it.

Selection in every department is good! Customer service is excellent, store is clean and organized. I like the fitting rooms as they are always available and you dont have stuff from others lying around! Great store to visit during their annual sale - I was able to get a lot of clothes for myself at 50% off their non-sale prices!

My experience in the womens formal wear department was outstanding. The sales associates there were extremely professional and patient, even though the department was very busy the day I was there. They really took the time to help me find the right dress and even helped with accessories. I would definitely shop there again.

Went and looked at a YSL bag only to get crowded on by 3 sales people. My boyfriend picked up a pair of Dior heels next to the bag to show me and the shoe sales man snatched it from his hands and puts it back down on the display. Put the bag down and walked away. Will never purchase from here again.

The shoe salesman I spoke with was very short with me, and did not provide any exemplary service of any kind. He merely told me the product I wanted was unavailable before moving on to another customer. I actually had more questions, but was not able to ask them, so I took my business elsewhere.

I know its a cliche but you get what you pay for. Never thought I would pay those prices but after two hours of shopping everywhere else, and leaving frustrated, I gave in. There is something to be said about only buying clothes you love. Shout out to Mark for the restaurant recommendations!

I enjoy the shopping experience at Tysons Nordstrom. The staff is invariably friendly and highly efficient. My daughter and I can spend the whole day at Nordstrom having fun have a good meal.
